That beautiful quilt is indeed finished 😍 The gathered fabric circles are called yo-yo’s! Yo-yo’s were a super popular decorative element with fabric crafters in the 90’s. And with 90’s fashion having a big resurgence atm, yo-yo’s seem to be quietly resurfacing 🪡

I love the yo-yo quilt! I've seen yo-yo vests and other wearable pieces, but never a full quilt. I love my yo-yo duster/kimono, it's silk and adds a really nice texture to an outfit. Thanks for sharing this

I work very similarly, often defaulting to cleaning/tidying when it’s not my main goal. It’s just easy work that I know how to do. I’ve found making a list of tasks to work through can be a helpful method. And it’s very satisfying to check them off. And also learning to extend yourself grace on a regular basis. I think efficiency and productivity are given too much weight in our culture today. You’re doing a great job! Love your finds this week! One of my favorite things about your hauls is the variety of items across a wide spectrum. And that daisy wool sweater is bonkers. Like a modern “Lisa says gah” pattern.

I think if a camera were on most of us, it would show us wandering aimlessly 🙂. I love the Hugo Boss blazer, I can just imagine it on someone. I also think that baby doll is probably going to fetch you some good money on eBay. Hope you are staying warm!

You found some really cute vintage finds that’ll sell. The moto jacket will sell for sure. That’s a classic piece. The pink dress, which is a 1970s “secretary dress” will sell with women who like the “geek chic” look. They love buying the vintage secretary dresses from the 70s. The yellow sweater gives me Princess Diana vibes when she was still Lady Diana Spencer. She was known to wear cutesy sweaters like that in her early days. Being a quality sweater made of wool is a bonus. Someone looking for Diana fashion inspo may snatch that up. As for the Jimmy Choo’s - it’s still a luxury brand, but they’re not as “hot” as they were in the early 2000s. That said, a trend with Millenials is reliving their childhood and haunting thrift stores to get clothing that they couldn’t get when they were teens since there is a lot of 2000s fashion at the thrift stores. With some restoration, you may be able to sell those to a Millenial at a good price. Same goes for the vintage Abercrombie items, since that was the “it” brand in the 2000s.

I own those button front FP pants, they run big, but I love them, very comfy and versatile. Found mine at a thrift store. U found amazing things this go round. I don’t know why, but I love that old Abercrombie sweater…fun label and that leather halter,!. I had a suede and feather one that was something I wore in the 80’s when I was a singer in a traveling band

@ Yes, ever since I took a singing job for the summer after college and never stopped. Traveled all over the US for many years, have some great stories…ended up at a club in FL for 20+ years and still do private parties and monthly gigs at that club. Oxoxox always loved thrifting, still do

Girl, I operate the same way, unfortunately. I was prepping items to steam, and within 10 minutes, I pulled out my suitcase to put away 2024 receipts, clean my desk, play with a new camera, etc. Lmao, it happens, but the shoes-whew! You were wearing that leather jacket!

I love picking up vintage dresses. When my daughter was little I loved grabbing her vintage dresses but now she says “what am I 80”. (She’s 10 lol) I can’t sell them as well as I would like because I find really great vintage (women’s) dresses. One I even picked up, and the lady behind me said oh you found a good one but it hasn’t sold in 2 years online. 🤷🏼‍♀️
