My husband and I (along with our two kids) moved from Texas to Maryland last October! It all happened in about a month and a half, so I totally get it! I think the orange crochet sweater can be saved! I'd sew a "v" at the neck, either in front or back, and then cut a slit and fold back the cut edges and sew down to give you a finished edge. Then the neck will be wide enough to slip over your head!

Very cool a new place to explore!. I was in St Louis some years ago with my then teen daughter. She wanted to go to the City Museum. It is great for kids......but I had a blast too. My favorite was the 10 story spiral slide. We had stood much fun.

Stop at Cape Girardeau on I-55 on your way to STL. You would love downtown Cape. It’s very historic and right on the Mississippi River. Grab an authentic Cajun meal at Broussard’s. Great views of the river while you dine upstairs.
