Oh how I love the red books, and the blue Holy Bible is beautiful. I have been fortunate enough to find quite a few of the old Reader's Digest hard cover books. The binders are just so lovely. The short stories in them are so good! You always style your items so tastefully, and your appreciation for the treasures that you find is refreshing😊

I love that you rescue and appreciate all the old Bibles. Those copies were definitely used and loved by their owners. I have a dozen or so that are all family Bibles. Some in Swedish. I love to display them. One is a large family Bible from the late 1800s from my great grandparents. They brought it with them from Sweden to America. It has all the family history handwritten in it. So cool!

Great finds! I collect old bibles, have several that are early 1900's-1950's. Actually most of my vintage books are religious themed, several hymnals ..and then some children's books and children's bible story books. I love the ones that are worn too. Love the picture frame and the way you're intending to style it!

Love all your finds. You do such a beautiful job with your home. I find all these names for decorating styles interesting. I love a mix of things and I think most people do too. A little vintage cottage, vintage farm, colonial, primitive, craftsman. It really needs to be at least 60+ years old. Dont care for art deco although I can appreciate the architecture from that era. I think it is fun to mix styles and call it your own.

I love to thrift and go antiquing but I have been I’ll and it’s a 60 mile drive to the city. So I so enjoy watching you do this. We have the same love of old things and Victorian. It’s so funny that some people think this is old junk. Most people that come to my home though even though not their taste can appreciate the time I’ve put in collecting all these years.

Those burgundy lampshades looked like they would work as a hat display stands … and they looked like they were the shade of burgundy you like 😊. That scrapbook was awesome, full of vintage ephemera. Could be displayed open to a pg that matched the season or holiday.

Hi Danielle, I love the videos! I love the lamp you found. I think it’s beautiful and unique. I’ve never seen any like that before. I can’t wait to see the shade you find for it and how you have it styled. I’ve only been to the bins once in Las Vegas, and to be frank it kind of scared me away lol. I wish there were some near me and had vintage books like the ones you found! I did find some frosted beads like the ones you found at the 11:29 mark and I decorated for Christmas with them and along with my red transferware dishes, they are STUNNING! Wish we had bins. I love old books and got an old cook book, with medical and cleaning tips…copyrighted 1908. The Bible’s were well used and beautiful. Those red books are beautiful for Christmas. I have way too much stuff. When I am gone ai don’t think anyone will appreciate my taste so they will have to have an estate sale…not plan on going anywhere soon..years ahead of thrifting I hope. ❤❤❤❤
