For the brief semester, I studied Ballet, at BYU, in 1978, we wore pink tights, black leotards, black Qiana, stretch, wrap skirts, pink leg warmers, over our boots, to walk up the hill, to class, from the dorms. When it got cold, we layered up our nylon parkas, or fur jackets, over cashmere sweaters, over our tights & leotards, & wrap skirts. Flat boots, or shoes, kept our calve muscles stretched out, & heels weren't recommended.
