I love everything you found! The chair is stunning, probably my favorite, but it's hard to choose just one because it is all so nice. I still have yet to come across a silhouette, but I remember in first grade, a few decades ago, our teacher did each students for our parents to have. Tfs!

Was screaming when I saw that gorgeous chair for 7.50 ! So glad you got it. Embroidered small tablecloth is a treasure. Think marble bust is young boy in nightcap....with tassel hanging. Marble bust of any kind gives an elegant touch. Fun haul😍

Great finds. The cabinet that was two hundred dollars was a great price if it had been at an antique store it would have definitely cost more. I think the chair is my favorite it is so beautiful and will certainly add charm to any room. I don’t think the chip will be noticeable and I am like you I think it’s a nightcap. Sarah. I was so happy to see you today. I don't know if you have ever used paper clay. But you could use that a tiny bit. It dries hard & just shape it & glue it to the tiny chip on the nose. I think it woukd be cool if you use a white wax or a light medium wax on the girl statue to update her a bit. The wax you just put on & wipe back off & it just lays in the details of the piece. I think it is a night scarf, because it also looks like a robe she has on. I don't know if it would be appropriate, but I have some skirts that I have outgrown & possibly even half slips. I was so tiny & just in the last couple of years have outgrow a few things. They would be like the styles the girls wear. At 65 I suppose it's time I grew. I wore a 1 & 3 , then a 5, now it's more like a 7/8. So I was wondering if I could have your address & if it doesn't cost to much. Ship some things for the girls to you? And what size of shoes do they where? I have way to many shoes & never really leave the country farm anymore. I'm 5'2" if you think thats not to long, but do they ever wear the shorter skirts? Love the chair!! Beautiful!! You also looked so beautiful in the lighter colors you wore thrifting!💛 Have you ever thought of getting silouettes of your girls/whole family? I made some of my family about 11 years ago...took awhile because I had to take a pic of each person standing sideways (my hubby took one of me) print out each of them (cropped them before printing to make the heads all about the same size), then used an x-acto knife to cut out each head, the used a very gentle tape to stick them onto black paper then used the x-acto knife again to cut around the photo "templates" and cut the black paper...boy! Was that a project!! But I love them...especially as my kids were so little then! I am almost 100% sure there are companies out there that can do something similar for you if you want to skip all the work and just send in the pics !😂👍 Maybe a Mother's Day request???😊💛

I loved the bust you picked up.... It is adorable and I am pretty sire they are wearing a knit cap with tassel at the end,,,, it looks like a vintage ( maybe even a young boy) maybe from Greece fishing village....You need to find out the exact material before you clean....of it is marble, I would clean with a wet cloth... it might actually be alabaster, if it s, do not clean with water,,,, just dust....cleaning products could turn the material a funky yellow....

Hi Sarah ! What a beautiful day this was with you and your sisters! I always love everything you find ! Your style always comes to my thoughts when I see items I know you would love like certain baskets, brass items, little pictures, etc. I love all the LINENS you got! When you said you can’t sleep well if the linens are not right….I am so thankful to hear someone else say that! LOL!!! I am very picky about my sheets. I take my own pillow with me when I stay at a Hotel also! 🤷‍♀️ I have a bad neck so I need MY PILLOW ! I will be anxious to see if you find a way to clean the marble. I know you can purchase cleansers, which I need to do for mine in the bathroom. SOAP SPOTS that I can’t get off and it is starting to drive me crazy ! The soap dulls the marble. Sarah, the pillowcases are probably Pima cotton. They have high thread count are are so soft & smooth. My bedset is 35 yrs old and still going strong. No tears, pilling. My favorite. Neat haul. My mom taught me that perl shampoo is the best stain remover out there.just wet item, put on the shampoo , rub a little and wash as normal.

The "ginormous" thrift store is my daughter's favorite thrift store. Her children go to Motherlode Christian School, so she often stops in after picking therm up from school.
