Hartstone Pottery, in its most recent incarnation, was recently acquired by Ohio Stoneware. They are located Zanesville, OH . They operate out of the historical Hartstone Factory, Their Stoneware Factory Outlet is filled with two stories of dinnerware, bakeware, crockery, garden ware, pet feeders, and more. The first story of their multi story facility consists of Ohio Stoneware and Hartstone branded items that are only American Made. I purchased the Gingerbread dishes back in 1996 or 1997. They are marked Hartstone on the bottom and were purchased at Dillard's Dept. Store in Fort Worth, Texas. Hope this helped with some insight into the mystery of the two brandings of the same design.

Sorry,.....I ran out of room! Noble Excellence is a Dillard's Name Brand so I suspect that the dishes were produced and then marked for Dillard's under their name brand. I'm sure they were originally branded by the company who produced them....that being Hartstone.

Michelle, I live in Cincinnati and seem to have no shortage of Beautiful glassware to pick from whenever I go to Goodwill or Salvation Army. Lots of Carnival glass, amberina, marigold, milk glass, clear glass.... My question is this, is there lots of fakes or because of where I’m at (seems OH, IN produced lots of these glass types) to be in excess?
