@sunshinegirl4660 Um... yay? I have two, because I love them and because they're practical for me. The fact remains that they are not in style and haven't been for decades. You can pick them up free or super cheap and many are going to landfills. They're not exactly conducive to collecting. So it's great to have alternative uses for them, to be able to remained them and give them new life for the current marketplace.

I live in an old house that has a 1970's, remodeled, painted 50 times kitchen. I am slowly removing the old cabinets and replacing them with hutches. I remove the top, flip it upside down and attach it up to the ceiling. I'm doing the tops and bottoms the same color but each of them are different colors. Or they will be. I'm only on my second one. But, I can see the kitchen all done in my mind's eye and it is going to be so unique and beautiful. I am going to save this video because I love gold and it just has to be one of my cabinets. All the countertops are going to be live-edge walnut. Thank you for all the inspiration.

They make wonderful kitchen furniture. Use the base as a bottom cabinet and hang the top as a upper cabinet. I did this and love it for pantry space.

Love you getting 2 pieces out of one. My mother took a piece of furniture 65 yrs ago and got my dad to separate them. The bottom piece she painted black and put a large piece of marble my aunt had given her and added new hardware. The top piece dad added legs to and refinished so we had a sweet dresser in the guest room. I’ve been looking for a piece to separate that is smaller than a hutch so I can flip for my home remodeling. Im 75 and so enjoy your channel. Keep up the beautiful work and thanks for sharing 💕💕💕

I inherited the exact same one from an aunt and uncle and even though we just recently moved into a new build I couldn’t part with the piece. I have plans to repurpose it I just have to find the time and of course two strong guys to lift it down for me! However I don’t think I have the stamina to do gold leaf! Haha. Tfs
