What a great haul! I love vintage sewing notions. You cracked me up with your pregnant safety pin…guess they weren’t “safe” enough. What a bad joke 🫣. Those are some fabulous books. Some I couldn’t cut up, like the sewing for kids book. I know I could learn something from that one.

😂 Those safety pins are interesting, sad I only have like 4-5 of them. I put that sewing book up with my other sewing books--I can't cut it up, and I can learn things from it as well! I have no idea what I'm doing most of the time -- I need all the help I can get! 😂 TFW! 💜

I love books. I buy them to tear up and use, but a lot of the time, I can't make myself do it. My hubby and I found a whole dumpster full of books that a thrift store threw away. We took a lot, gave away a lot, and donated a lot to our library. I told the thrift store about them thinking they might want some to sell, and that's when I found out they threw them out. The lady got on me for getting in the dumpster. I love to dumpster dive and trashpick so too bad so sad to her.😊 I love all of the sewing bits. The leather needles are actually triangular. The packaging is priceless. Enjoy your treasures! God bless.

I buy them to tear up to, but I have only torn up about 5 total 😂 Triangular needles for leather sounds exactly correct! VERY INTERESTING, thanks for telling me that! I have always wanted to do leather working, but I do NOT need another hobby! 😝 TFW! 💜

I wasn't finding good stuff near me, and this particular store didn't have great stuff, until recently. I think they got a new manager because the store is WAY better now -- cleaner, more organized, and better stuff! TFW! 💜

What great things you got in the grab bags,i have some of those stork scissors,they are great for crafts..I went in some local charity shops , here in England thrift onees to you.I got 6 rubber/wooden stamps and an embossing stamp set.
