Hey, Julie! Thank you for taking me thrifting along with you when I can't go myself. I was diagnosed with stage 4 small cell lung cancer in Oct 2022 and given 12 months. I was granted complete healing by Jesus in February 2023, but the devil wasn't done with me. It has recurred in my brain, lung, back and lymph nodes. My God is an awesome physician and I know He'll heal me again. New chemotherapy drug begins June 8 with some nasty side effect! Please be in prayer for me. Hi Julie, I’ve been watching your. videos for a few months now. I found you while I was recovering from a kidney transplant, Praise the Lord! I have just fallen in love with your family. Your videos gave me something else to think about other than the pain from my surgery ! I started looking forward to being able to go “thrifting” . I was sick and on dialysis for 31/2 years before God blessed me with new life. I am now thrifting like crazy and redecorating my whole house😊. I am having a blast !God used you to inspire me to have the courage to push through and be excited for the future. Thank you so much for just being real! Hello Julie. I love the blue and white tea pot. Great video. I went today with my friend to Skate at the Rink. I found great items. Today was 1/2 day. I spend $36.00 and only pay $13.00. Last year they raised 1/2 million dollars for Cancer. This year 2023 the man on the mic said, "It seems like we are going to raise more and break the record from last year." Very happy to be part of it each year. I also bought two raffle tickets. One for my daughter and one for me. 🥰🌺

I grew up with a circular table like that one, except it was a darker wood. Ours also had the leather green top to it. My mom would sometimes put a table cloth over it. Love your finds! That big black pot that you showed us, my dad had one similar, but bigger, he would use to steam crabs. Had many steamed crabs in the summer!

The round table with the drawer is called a 'drum table', and the medium in its center top is likely leather. Such a lovely find!

That antique cabinet @5:07 was gorgeous! ❤It prob had glass shelves. All I’d change on it would be the paper backing inside…maybe a floral or colorful peel n stick. And the primitive cabinet @7:15 would be cute hanging in a bathroom to store small bottles, cotton balls, etc.

Hi Julie. I love your thrift hauls. I see that table all the time at estate sales..go kind of higher price, leather inlaid..can not think of name. You will find another one. That little cabinet with the wheat pattern was so cute..but maybe like me. I have no room to put something like that, but it was a great price. I love the tea pot and all your finds. I am disappointed..no estate sales tomorrow. I don't need a thing, but boy do I like to look and like you I am picky about what I get and I don't over spend. Thank you for sharing. My dining room cabinet is like the little cabinet you looked at without the shelves, it is from 1920s. I have the buffet, table , chairs and China cabinet. I had a friend who had it and she loved it. When she moved she said I loved it and she sold it to me super cheap.

I can’t believe you didn’t get the round table after you went back and forth so long about it. Looked like it might have had leather on top. It could have been glued back down, could have even been painted. It definitely looked like it needed some lemon oil or something especially on the legs to put some moisture back in the wood. That chicken basket was so cute. You got some good pieces though! I think what makes your style so beautiful is the way you stack and layer your pieces. Love from Texas , ❤️😇

It said good morning / good day on the tea cup my guess it is they are Fresian.The cabinet without the shelves was lovely, you can easily get a glazier to cut shelves for you or use wood instead. However those units are notorious for collecting mould behind the backing/ tapistery so anyone loving to buy them always check there is no "funny" smell coming from them.I think you were right about the round table, it iis georgeous and if you have time it is a lovely piece to restore and is an antique, maybe a small card table. But I wonder if someone had restored part of the bottom with pine legs and that's why it felt different. It looked pretty wobbly and that can be difficult to fix

That green teapot and teacup is a wax melter. You would put your scented wax in the hanging bowl and then a tea light would go in the teacup to warm up the wax. I’ve seen Yankees candle make something similar, otherwise I would’ve had no idea. Lol

the round table, where you were questioning what the middle part was- this type of treatment was made out of leather inlaid in the top, this is cleaned with cream leather cleaner rubbed into the leather. DC

Love the sugar bowl. The table top is leather - saw John’s Furniture and Repair refinish one. I think the green teapot thing with the swinging white dish is a tart warmer. I thought for sure you would get that little wooden box so cute!

That chicken is so funny! Love that beanpot would use it as a planter too I love that cabinet. Easy to make shelves in it even glass ones I love the wheatcabinnet. Put your litle glass P&S shackers inthere I loved the first round table would give it a new paint and would age it 26 dollars is to much for that table. Iff it would be less I would buy it. Crazy, crazy, crazy prices!!!! Unbelievable. My mother works cash at our local Salvation Army thrift store here in Canada. All big plates are $1, all mugs are .50 and jars with tops? $1 - $2. Now, in saying that, the larger thrift stores have gone nuts with their pricing as well....I've walked in and I've walked out just as fast when I saw a plate for 5 bucks. Crazy!!

Hey Julie, I don’t know if someone already commended on it somewhere below. The mugs at around the 14 minute mark. They are German. It says „Moin moin“ which is a way of greeting each other in the northern/ coastal regions of Germany or southern part of Denmark (and I believe historically also in different regions around Europe). But pls don’t pin me down on that. Different regions also have a different translation of the word I believe. But it is used day or night and from my Region I was taught it comes from the word „beautiful“ „good“ as in wishing a good day or night whilst saying hi. Don’t know if that makes sense. 🫣 Greetings from Germany ☺️
