Another worthy candidate -- No Country for Old Men. The theme of random fate determining one's life/death, the almost mythic relentlessness of Chigurh and the helplessness of Bell to prevent slaughter all combine to make this a thriller killer.

A compelling movie. Haunting.

IWrangler: Good and different selections. Oversights: All high body counts. 1: Last Man Standing: Excellent Bruce Willis. 2: A Perfect World: Bad guy Kevin Costner versus Clint Eastwood in a supporting role. 3: The Man From Colorado. Psychotic Judge Glenn Ford versus William Holden. Without a doubt the most evil role Ford played. I would note the miniseries The Son with Pierce Brosnan as Eli McCollough. One of the nastiest characters ever in a western. The only good white ( or black) character is his son Pete. Again a very high body count.

Another fun video! What about “Cowboys & Aliens”? Does it fit?
