I just found you, first video of yours that I've watched and LOVED it!!!!!!! I have a PILE of library books over here and was excited that I already have Stillhouse Lake, You and Hidden Bodies waiting to be read. Thanks for the recommendations, I'll check those! I don't luke Gillian Flynn and didn't really care for You, but I'll check the others. In terms of thrillers I loved Tall Oaks by Chris Whitaker and Descent by Tim Johnston in 2017, they made my top 2017.

Jessi Tarbet exactly, I love seeing how books can be perceived differently by readers! I read Dark Places and didn't like the pacing but it seems to work very well for other readers. If you get a chance to read and like those 2 books I mentioned it would be great because I haven't heard anyone talk about them and it is such a pity!

Stillhouse Lake was my favorite book of 2017. I liked The Marriage Lie, but liked The Good Widow better-which was similar! I couldn't stand the language in You- maybe because I listened to it. I felt like it was constant! I think if I would've read it, I would've liked it better!! I'll have to try the sequel. I had never heard of He Will Be My Ruin. I'll add that to my list!

I've also heard good things about The Good Widow so I need to add that to the list. I definitely think You is best read. I can't imagine listening to it.
