The 2023 Dallas ISD Holiday Invitational basketball tournament will be held Wednesday through Friday, December 27-29. The 83rd annual tournament is rich in tradition and features exceptional competition, including regional qualifiers and state champions.This year’s format includes a 16-team Gold Bracket and a 16-team Silver Bracket for both boys’ and girls’ competition. A total of 32 girls’ teams and 32 boys’ teams each are guaranteed at least four games during the three-day event. Forester Field House and seven Dallas ISD high school campuses will host tournament games on Wednesday and Thursday, and then games move to Ellis Davis Field House and Forester Field House on Friday. High school sites include: Conrad, North Dallas, Pinkston, Roosevelt, Skyline, South Oak Cliff, W.T. White. There will be eight games at each site on Wednesday and Thursday. Game times are 9 a.m., 10:30 a.m., Noon, 1:30 p.m., 3 p.m., 4:30 p.m., 6 p.m., and 7:30 p.m. On the final day of the tournament, there will be six games each at Ellis Davis and Forester field houses. The championship, consolation, and third-place games for both the girls and boys gold brackets will be at Ellis Davis, while the championship, consolation, and third-place games for the silver brackets will be at Forester.
