Thrilling Radio Control Get Together in London: Vintage and Modern RC Cars Racing on the Track!

Welcome to our radio control RCKicks get together in London! We had an amazing day with a large number of RC fans driving around a thrilling race track. The atmosphere was buzzing with excitement as we watched vintage and modern RC cars being driven around the track.
In addition to the exciting races, we also held a "best car in show" competition, a radio control quiz, and a raffle. The winners were thrilled to receive their radio control car prizes and a massive thank you to Rochester RC for sponsoring the event!
We were so impressed with the amazing skills and creativity of our RC community. It was truly inspiring to see so many talented drivers and beautifully crafted cars in one place. Thank you to everyone who joined us for this incredible day. We can't wait for the next one!

Hi Gavin, at the age of 50 I’m new to rc - in 6 weeks I now own a used WLToys A959 with loads of upgrades parts, ace for on the drive! A new HBX 16889A 1/16 4WD Brushless RTR, and a new Corally Muraco 1/8 4WD Truggy. Do you know of any meets like this up in Staffordshire? Loving the channel btw 👍🏻

New subscriber here,only to happy to subscribe if it will help the channel. Ive just got back into rc cars in the last year or so after 30 years away. I loved rc as a kid but then life got in the way,college, job,marriage, kids,mortgage etc etc and I just kind of drifted away from it. But I've now got the bug back in a big way. It's so amazing to me the way cars have come on,my sons wltoys 124017v2 which is at the real cheap end is faster ( 40 mph ) than so many high end cars from back in the day. Lipos and brushless motors have changed the game beyond all belief. It probably doesn't notice so much for those who stayed with the hobby as the speed increases would have been gradual and for those that just got into it in modern times,it will be all they know. But for someone like me,that last drove cars when 40mph was very impressive to see those speeds achieved by very basic beginner level cars and people doing speed runs around the 200mph level is just CRAZY 🤪

@@SEAN-fx5dm I will do mate,cheers . It was KZbin recommending a Kevin Talbot video that got me back into rc and since then I've subscribed to several different channels. I don't know why they initially recommend an rc video to me,but it got me hooked again,like when i was first into rc in late 80s ,early 90s . I was just so shocked at how much they'd come on and the fact so many great rc's were rtr. Back when I was teenager ( born in 1976 ) you had to build all hobby grade rc's,rtr were toys. I think it's really good as having to build from the start put a lot of people off. But now they're a lot of decent rtr cars,people that wouldn't have been bothered to build a car from scratch get a car as they can drive it straight away. This gets them into the hobby and once they're involved they have no problems renching on their cars,in fact most people seem to like messing around with their cars,improving things and upgrading as maybe finances dictate .
