A few young subscribers from Pennsylvania sent me some fishing lures to use. I decided to wade a new section of creek and see what I could catch on a few different lures they sent. There’s plenty of action and adventure in this episode. Falling trees, hard hitting fish, technical problems and fun fishing. I used my favorite bass setup. Abu Garcia veritas medium rod with pfleuger president reel and 8 lb mono.

Two different fish: The second has a few dark spots on it's lower right side, around the belly. It also has a notch on the back of the rear dorsal fin. The first bass has neither.That spot looks primo, shoals dropping straight off into a nice, deeper pool with wood. Hey, awesome vidoes, really been enjoying them, thanks!

Have you ever tried a lure called a Super Duper? Use to use those a long long time ago and they were awesome. Gonna have to find me one and try it. Just came to my mind. Rooster Tails and Super Dupers! Brings back memories of my youth.

Hey just a little tip I use all the time when I’m wading I wade up stream so the water won’t muddy up before you get to your spot and if you go to bass pro shop and get the lewer that says white stone fly with number 2 spinners it always works

I like your channel I subbed. I caught a 6lb largemouth with a 1/8oz. Roosterbait, black I think, I always rotated between brown, black, and gray for smallmouth(on days they wouldn't hit I'd use pink.) That was in the Columbia gorge. where I live now there is a creek with largemouth that go for 4" white-bellied dark backed Rapalas and yellow roostertails. I'd like to see more topwater, especially when you're getting into pound plus fish in those deeper tunnels maybe even a buzz bait?

Try Harris Creek in Cleveland. My wife and I used to catch some good bass in it. We would use spring lizards.

The only time I caught the same fish in the same trip was this last year, a 5lb channel catfish THREE times in less than 15 minutes. Swear. No trick, just a nightcrawler in the same spot. That bass musta been pretty hungry haha!

I tell my son all the time to be aware of your surroundings. The generations with the tech we didn't grow up with, need to learn. Life is more than an arms width away and a selfie in the left hand.
