How is this scoring done?

There were 6 judges from 6 different countries, and each of them will give a mark based on each athletes' performance and difficulty. They will get rid of one highest score and one lowest score, add the rest 4 scores together and divide by 4 to give an average score, which is the final score. The truncated mean is a valuable estimator because it is less sensitive to outliers than the mean but will still give a reasonable estimate of central tendency or mean for many statistical models.
