I'm a 15 year old boy from Sweden. I've never smoked or drinked (a lot) since I know the harsch consequenses of it. Despite this I a few months ago felt a lump in my throat. I could feel it very clearly sometimes at the bottom of my throat. I thought nothing more about it until it got pretty irratating. So I complained to my dad about the lump. We didn't think it wasn't anything urgent so we waited a bit and it actually got a bit better. However, after some time I noticed another lump feeling on another spot in my throat. I told my dad and we went to a small hospital (vårdcentral in swedish, a small hospital with less qualified personell that can deal with easy problems and send you to more qualified hospitals). I told the doctors about my lumps in my throats and they tried their best to figure out what was wrong. I told them about my allergies against mites and they asked me a lot of questions. After a discussion they decided to book a appointment for a hospital with doctors specialised on nose, ear and throat. The weeks went by and it was now summer. The first few weeks of summer I felt a weird feeling in my throat and after a while it got increasingly harder to swallow. I decided to not let that stop my summer plans. That was a big mistake becauase I also got more and more tired and had to take breaks just from cleaning my room to breathe and relax. After been taking it easy and been relaxing for a week my dad, sister and me were going on a loooong roadtrip to the northern part of Sweden. The day before the trip I was really tired and felt like I had to pause sometimes just to breathe. When the first roadtrip day arrived I felt pretty bad. However, I didn't wanna ruin the semester for my dad and my sister so I just went with it. After a few hours I felt that it was hard to breathe and I felt lumps in my throat. I had no apetite and had it hard to swallow food. I also suffered panic attacks. This went on trougout the day and the next day. When we arrived at our hotel my dad decided that I should go to the local hospital to be checked so there were no dangerous signs of anything. The doctors didn't find anything urgent and we went back to the hotel. I felt a lot better knowing I didn't suffer from anything dangerous. However 2 problems still remained. I had it hard to swallow and I was extremely tired. So I didn't eat a lot during the semester and I just laid in bed almost all the time. Eventually we went home and the trip went pretty well if you compare it to my trip to the hotel. When I got home I hoped it would get better but it didn't. If anything it got worse. My dad called around to different doctors and eventually we got an appointment at the ear, nose and throat hospital. The day when I'm gonna go there is tomorrow and they are gonna look inside my throat with a tiny camera. A bit scary but it also feels nice knowing that I might soon get an answer of what the hell is wrong with my throat. Of course I've had plenty of time of trying to figure out what might be wrong myself. I've googled around (bad idea you only get scared) and found out a few things. I might have throat cancer, but I could also have problems with the muscles that swallow, it could also be an infection or problems with my stomach and acid refluxes. It can also be so much more. Idk what do you guys think? Also worth noticing is that I've had swollen lymph nodes under my cheeks for almost a year. I told some doctors about it but they said they didn't feel anything. I've also been suffering from sudden panicattacks from time to time and more frequently lately. Maybe I've been stressed out a lot since my last year in middle school just ended and I studied a lot at home and in school. I've also been suffering from some anxiety when it comes to sickness and symptoms. I easily stress myself and that can lead to a panic attack. So all of this could also just be something pshyological. Something that my brain makes up. Hopefully I will get some answers tomorrow and if I have time and if I'm remebering this comment I will update this comment when I know more. This was also my longest comment ever written YT! Idk if anyone will read this long comment but it certainly hepled myself to describe my weird feelings and symptoms. If anyone has any questions or wants to write anything, go ahead reply to me and I will probably reply back. If I stopped replying it probably means I don't have access to this account, not getting notifications or someting terrible has happened to me. I'm usually pretty active when it comes to replying to comments. UPDATE: I've been to the doctor now. He looked through my nose into my throat and didn't see anything wrong with it. He told me that it probably was problems with my stomach acid entering my throat and irratating my throat. So he gave my pills to stop that. However I have to use it for 3-4 weeks for it to be effective and I haven't seen any changes yet. Right now I'm only eating soup, ice cream and drinking stuff contained with a lot of energy and healty stuff. When I swallow it feels weird all the way up to my left ear. I just want this problem to stop. I'm feeling very unmotivated, have lost even more weight and I' generally tired right now. Luckily I don't have anything important to do right now since I have summer break but still I want to enjoy it. Next step is too get my throat x-rayed/scanned to see if there's anything weird there. I wanted to describe in more depth about my throat. It is hard to swallow food but not that hard to swallow liquids. When I swallow it feels very weird in the left side of the throat. It feels like something is moving there and it's very uncomfortable. When I swallow or try to spit out some saliva it sounds weird in my throat and especially from the left side of it. When I drink water sometimes it can come up again in my throat but not my mouth. When I eat food it feels like the food gets stuck in my throat and I have a hard time to swallow it. Thats why I have just eaten soup, yoghurt and ice cream the last days. That has resulted in me losing 2-3 kilograms of weight. As I've said earlier I'm a healthy 15 year old boy living in also a very healthy environment. So it feels very unlikely that it would be any kind of serious disease. Anyways I will know more soon (I hope).

It can be a stomach ulcer I have one to so the acid pushes up into the throat and then it gets irritated, if there’s a pain just above your belly button in between your ribs it can be that…

I don't hope I don't have cancer. I cant figure out what my problem is. I went to my dentist and oral surgeon last week to be evaluated about my recent dark spot in my mouth that has appeared again after years. The oral surgeon offered me a biopsy, and he said it would cost over $1,000 with my insurance. I had so many health problems since 2008 when I graduated high school. As for the month and throat problem, the roof palate of my mouth turned dark brown/black in 2017 or 2018. I had a black doctor at the time. He told me nothing was wrong with my mouth and black people have darker gums. He ignored my symptoms. Months and years later, my tonsils have been completely swollen and they never went down. The back of my mouth is always red, and there are small lumps hidden below my tonsils. I did go to an otolaryngologist (ENT) last year. He looked and immediately said my tonsils need to be removed. I still think there is something more going on. I have also been dizziness with vertigo since February. I have a neurologist appointment on May 3. My mouth and throat has been red and swollen since 2017 or 2018. It looks hideous.

God knows i fucked my self. First of all; I got a perfect great singing voice for a now 19yrs young adult and last month December/January I hoarse my voice which was my first and definitely a start thinking it was a reach for me. The hoarse lasted less than a week. Now everyday after my voice got least closure i started to sing at high level like my voice was totally healed in that same week my voice got an OK closure and it wasn't certainly back to normal (Fully Healed), i sang but i felt there wasn't that strength i would have singing normally but still kept stressing the vocal box thinking it'd heal in the midst of misusing it together but i knew along it shouldn't be doing it but I'm so addicted to music. If i hear a vocal song play, I'd want to sing it right back with same vocal pitch and that was because i knew my vocal range was that powerful to sing almost if not everything. Now today (Feb 23 '21) I've added more to my case having a lump too and i have fear i got throat cancer, I'll make sure to see the doctor tomorrow. And also my voice is never better or best as it was earlier December and yes i can't sing again cause my voice has gotten thinner and it has lost too much quality. I can't even speak with my thick voice, i can't talk for too long ( i mean shout/sing). It sucks knowing my voice was a real musical stunning voice now the only was i could live my voice is by watching my recorded singing video or listening to my singing on sound recorder i recorded. I need help!!! Pls find me somebody to help 😪😪

I thought I had a sore throat from throat reflux. Now they found a lump on my tongue. Biopsy next week. 3:00 "Preserve the tissue" means that removal could interfere with speech and swallowing. Their comprehensive team could retrain people who have lost function to radiation, I think.

my mother whom is 30 have high white blood cell count and low red blood cell count and a large nodule on her throat.I went with her to the EMT he performed a biopsy he said it was the strangest nodule he had ever seen as far as he could tell it was byline as far as he could tell.he recommended surgery asap he said he wanted to remove he mass ans everything around it as much as he could then he said it was was gonna come back it was just a matter of time. nightmaster Tickling of the throat is very common in colds. I have seen so many with this. They always have had just a cold or maybe a flu-ish if it's combined with a fever. Sometimes strep can cause a tickle feeling in the throat. Don't worry too much. If nervous get checked out. You're high likely to be told you're negative to cancer It's gonna be ok, stay positive

When i was a kid my dad smoked in the house around us until 1988 when I was 11. I smoked from 1996-1998. I then chewed skoal chewing tobacco from 2000-2002. I had a polyp removed from my vocal cord in 2003 and it was nothing. I have year long allergies. I take allergy medicine and get shots. I have really bad gerd and some trouble swallowing and for about a month my throat has been raspy and sore. I see the GI dr. tomorrow.

Caio Fonseca my symptoms are a sensation of something stuck in my throat, acid reflux occasionally and sometimes difficulty swallowing. I went to the hospital and took a barium swallow test which came back normal so I'm gonna go back again soon to get a second opinion and maybe more tests

I smoked for about 8 months,not regularly though only 2-3 times a week,1 cigarette.Drink beer sometimes,maybe once a month. My throat isn't sore, but, everytime I sleep and wake up, I am spitting up blood. I can't tell where it's coming from. I thought my gums, but I've checked my gums as soon as I've woke up several times, and never were they bleeding. Sometimes, it does seem as if it comes from my throat, because sometimes, I don't spit blood from my mouth, but from out my throat. The thing is, this only ever happens when I sleep. Never when awake, but it happens everytime. If i die, I die. Lol I hope it isn't, because I watched my grandfather go from taking his boat out by himself to go fishing at 89, to a month later bed ridden, and didn't even know who I was anymore. It was pancreatic cancer. I don't want my son to see me like that ever.

@@danielskinner7603 Well don't worry. I had it and it was painful, I was anxious believing it was cancer but it wasn't. My dad gave me tea with honey, and lemon. Drink hot tea with honey and lemon to unclog the throat, and ease the cough. But since it's your tonsils, I believe it'll heal even way faster after you atleast try the hot tea with honey and lemon. It's practically medicine for it, if not then I recommend you drink hot coffee, or anything that's hot. It'll ease your pain that's for sure, and it'll reduce your swollen tonsils. It worked for me, helped a lot. Got rid of my problem in a week.

My ent ignored my complaint of chronic ear and jaw pain for 3 years switched ent and he found out in 5 minutes I had cancer. Tests to prove his suspicions stage 4 bilateral lymph involvement if only I knew some ents were stupid this could have been treated at a much earlier stage with less detrimental consequences
