I could almost sleep to this song, it's so rhythmic and has a lot of ambiance. Definitely a horrifying relaxation song

I often go to sleep to music like this I find it quite hypnotic! The only thing is if you fall asleep and wake up wile it’s still playing it takes you a second to figure out what the f is going on !!!!

Psychedelic like early Pink Floyd. I loved it 💜💜💜. Reminds me of "One of The Days" by Pink Floyd, and this song is not so much compared to "Disturbing Songs" by Pink Floyd from the albums "A Sacerful Secret" and "Umagumma"...

Literally all of Throbbing Gristle’s songs are various interpretations of the Pink Floyd song Echoes, according to Genesis P-Orridge. Crazy how one song can influence a whole band’s discography. Unless he was joking.

@@mastermatheson where does he says so, can you share please?

@@lvlineareO.I read it in an interview. Don’t know if I can find it here on the net. I read it along time ago. Possibly a joke, but if it’s true, it would explain why this track sounds like Echoes a little, as well as other TG tracks.

What is slug bait?Slug pellets and baits contain molluscicides, which are poisonous substances that kill all slugs and snails. They also contain attractants that make slugs and snails eat the pellets. These attractants are powerful; that is why slugs and snails prefer eating the pellets instead of plants.27 Ιουν 2018 Is slug bait bad for dogs? What is metaldehyde toxicity? When pets eat the slug bait, either off the ground or from a storage container, toxicity or poisoning can occur. Metaldehyde is highly toxic, although its mechanism of action (how it causes toxicity) is unknown. What is the purpose of slugs?Slugs and snails are very important. They provide food for all sorts of mammals, birds, slow worms, earthworms, insects and they are part of the natural balance. ...looks at the taboo-smashing English band Throbbing Gristle, formed as a sort of tense standoff between art and music.

I put salt outside the patio door to repel the slugs. I feed my cats out there and I don’t want to risk them eating poison. RIP Genesis P-Orridge

Since I first heard this song in full, I interpreted the bass on the right side as the slug's "life force," it's steady but gets disorted near the middle before fading out at the end, and in the left is the poison in the slug bait just ripping through the poor thing's body, killing it slowly and agonizingly, stretched out for 9 minutes. Appropriately terrible.

@kkh369 I'm too curious now--is it because you know something about land in Idaho? And if so, is it because the land is expensive, and you don't think Throbbing Gristle is worth it? Or is it that the land is worth nothing to you, and so you think I am insulting the band ? Or that you read my words as, "I hate throbbing gristle, so I said they're like Idaho!"
