Not the best guide, especially the first merchant. Always buy the weekly stuff while you can. Others can be bought as early as you want to get earlier benefits from them, but they're a drop from event dungeon, so you might just waste tokens by buying. Leftover tokens should be used in cooking event food, It looks to be quite good.
