Which one of these 4 traits on a xbow weapon should I take out: Hit chance Critical Hit Chance Attack speed Heavy attack chance We can equip only 3, so which one of these traits should a xbow/dagger player take out ?

Keep Heavy Attack Chance and get Attack Speed elsewhere. AFAIK there is no other piece of gear other than weapons that can have Heavy Attack as a stat. Meanwhile you can get Attack Speed through multiple rings, gloves and set bonuses. Heavy attack is good for Xbow because you use multi-hit skills, which makes it proc more often. Even if it's 2x on a 300 hit, it really adds up when you are constantly spamming attacks.

@@mistery264 This may sound like a silly response but it kinda depends on your server and if it is predominantly good players or just scrubs that run builds from MaxRoll. If it's a server with good, competitive guilds, you will find A LOT of players that run Ranged & Magic Endurance, so any Crit you can get will possibly have a higher impact on your damage than a little extra AS will.

@@Magflyer haha omg you are correct (your evasion - enemy hit)/(your evasion - enemy hit + 1000) it was a typo but it is included in the excel calculations

To save everyones time: If your build includes Daggers, run Magic & Ranged Evasions. If you do not have Daggers in your build, build Ranged & Magic Endurance. You can't counter GS builds with neither Melee Endurance or Evasion, as on most builds you can't build enough Melee Endurance/Evasion to overcome their Hit/Crit chances. EDIT: WITHOUT gimping your offensive stats. Build Stun and Bind Resistances instead so that they can't lock you down and burst you, and just kite them.

Melees tickle me. You can build enough melee evasion in t1 i will start posting pvp videos where i stand against melee characters and do my own staff because what u say has no standing :) also i got the maths what u have?

@@Th3RuthlessDuo Gs/dagger can achieve 1.3k+ Hit in Blues. Post a video against a properly built character, not against scrubs with 700 Hit. You are also getting blown the fuck up either against Magic or Ranged in mass PvP, which are the more dangerous classes. Gs/Dagger is a small scale/arena spec, and as I said - if you build resistance to stop their CC, they can't actually lock you down in one place to kill you. It's actually very easy to build Bind resistance with just a couple of items. If they can't land their Shadowstrike and Stun, they can barely do shit, as long as you are moving and not standing in one place.

@@Bl2EAKIN Again what i post is based on gameplay, what you post is only theory and you are not backing it up. When the frontlines tanks melee etc etc are walking into backline you are prone to cc 100% without melee evasion you are done. Also the mages and rangers do not hit me at all as i am the last in the backline while playing full support. IF you dont know positioning then its not my fault. Furthermore what you say it might be good for the frontline but not the backline. If i wanted something different i would go for Max Endurance and Max collision and bind resistance. But this will be my Tier 2 equipment.

If you are playing against scrubs that barely reach 700 hit and run with untraited purples, then I can see stacking Melee Evasion be a worth option. If that's your "gameplay experience", I'm happy for you but I wouldn't be giving out advice, because there are people who have to play against opponents that actually know how to build their characters and you are just giving them bad advice, even more so because you play support so technically you don't even have to care about stats like Hit. A guildie of mine that runs GS/Daggers has the best of laughs when he 2 shots Evasion stacking players and they start crying, not realizing he has 1.5k+ Hit lmao. The math says that unless you have AT LEAST 1500 Melee evasion, you do not have a significant chance to evade against a properly geared character. Gs/Dagger reaches 1.3k Hit in Blue gear that costs like 5k lucent. Imagine better geared. Your only chance of surviving that is resisting their CC and running.

Did you test this ? Also, not critting does not mean using min damage. It rolls randomly between min and max. Only if you have more endurance than enemy crit can you make them min roll on the damage.

You can use ranged Endurance as a secondary stats it is possible. Blessed barrier is your best frined, this is why we go buff duration and cooldown reduction :D

Im longbow wand healer and went full melee and ranged endurance. It is really hard to kill me but my server have full of gs/dagger players, so I can't even chance to run or do something because of stuns. If I knew it'll be like that, I certainly go melee evasion of all cost.

Just get some Bind & Stun resistance and don't stand in one place, constantly move. You can get a high amount of resistances by switching our like 2 or 3 items that won't even affect your overall build too much.

Staff is exquisite and you can try having 2 evasions eventhough one will be always less than the other. And this can only happen to staffs because of the buff we have. I would suggest you need 100% melee Evasion and then work for ranged. As i said its rock paper scissors. Find your worst enemy and counter him OR accept that this is your worst and go for the rest ;)

@@warriorfilmsfull hmmm... Depends on the class you play. If you play staff dagger your hit is quite low. Now with ur staff buff you are gonna be ok but without the buff you are walking on a fine line. Also you need at least 1k hit i believe :x at least in the future
