If this is any consultation, she read 4 manga volumes, which take considerably less time to read. I personally don't count them in the same category as books because of this :3 Still, do read on your own speed. Trying to read faster can very easily take out the joy of reading

I love both The Brothers Karamazov and Crime and Punishment, but they are quite different. The Brothers is more ideas less plot, it was the last book Dostoevesky wrote/published before he died so it was just all of his bubbling thoughts on religion, philosophy, good vs evil, each brother represents a characteristic rather than them being realistic characters. The actual plot is just what happens in the blurb and its stretched out over the book, nothing else actually happens

In the future if you decide to read Pallbearer’s Club i rlly recommend to read it physically!! There’s annotations throughout and it’s entertaining, but everything will be confusing on audio format. It’s a combo of horror, comedy, and metafiction. It’s not really a page-turning thriller
