I've commented a few times that a restomod project would be perfect for this channel, some American muscle from the 60s-70s with modern comforts would be amazing to see. Out of all the people out there I think this group, especially with their list of contacts could do it the best.

My dad bought an 87 GN brand new with the t-tops and brought it home with a bow on it for mom. She was scared of driving it. I have so many fond memories from my childhood of him spinning the tires and watching the boost gauge on the dash. They eventually sold it in the early 90s but it’s still one of my favorite cars. Dad passed away last year unfortunately but I know he’d love to watch this rebuild with me

I literally was in tears watching this video. My first car was an ‘81 Regal when I turned 18. My mom gifted it to me to go to college. It was in a decent shape until I got an accident and I lost it 😢. It was so special to me cause my mom gave it to me and was the only transportation she got to work and she just sacrificed herself to gave me the opportunity to go to the college and had a job. So when I saw for the first time the GN I just got in love with it and since then became my DREAM CAR ❤ Thanks you guys for appreciating such a wonderful peace of engineering art. Hope who ever got this beauty take good care of it. 😌

Absolutely Dope!! My mother got an 86' Buick Regal new in 86'. 3.8V6 with 235hp....I was 11yrs old in 86'...in 87' when the Buick Grand National hit the magazine covers...I was in love..lol My mother hit a deer and totaled it by 88'....there were three of us, best of friends senior year of high school...my buddy Corbin had a 86' Ford Thunderbird coupe..it was a turbo car, gone bad he had gotten a good deal on, so him and his father put a 351 Cleveland, Blue racing Cam, 3 speed with a B&M shif kit....spent alot of time in that car....lol My other buddy Paul, had a 1987 Buick Grand National GNX, it's a wonder we're still alive, and still good friends to this day...lol an Amazing car! He sold it to a used car lot, after 3 yrs of owning it to move a couple states away one summer to get to know his birth father...who ran a Harley Davidson shop...a bought him a bike, and was back after 15 months....lol Myself, I had a 1979 Monte Carlo SS with a 454..all the bells and whistles ....myself and Corbin hadn't gotten around to paint jobs, and interior...we were more motor guys, Paul's was always clean as a whistle. . Lol I'd give anything to relive a couple summer nights, all three of us in a row just gettn it,, out state route road headed to the strip mines,.....maybe one of these days, I'll have me another car to work on...I'm a single father of a 16yr old girl, and she wants my old truck an 2005 Ford F-150 xlt 5.4L 3v...if you know, you know...I've got a timing job to do, that's as much wrench turning I get to do anymore...My grandfather was a mechanic, my father was a mechanic, and if I had half a brain, I'd be a mechanic...I grew up in garage, raised on exhaust fumes...lol✌️

Always happy to see a G-Body back on the road. Stock, I agree that most G-Bodies aren't the most impressive cars, but thankfully people have been modding these cars to do everything for almost 40 years. Add that to the fact that a significant amount of companies offer aftermarket support, it really is the most diverse automotive platform ever.
