While the engine was totally out of the car it would be so simplistic to just port & polish, change all the bearings, rings and replace anything that may have looked problematic. Why would anyone skip these procedures with such an intricate build??
@starrarmy2 жыл бұрын
@@surfratducdive sorry, I know this is an old comment but I just now saw the video 😂 I was thinking along those lines too. Even like let’s do the chain while it’s out. Though to do all that then they didn’t even add the super charger. All that time and no way to make a little over 200HP…… Why? My MR2 has a Gen 3 3SGTE swap and minor mods plus a turbo upgrade and I made 350WHP. That’s probably about 170WHP more than they got out of that V6. Where it was iconic? It is only in your head. This car made from toyopta camry - same engine and other parts. Only outside it was ineresting - but it was very rare even in 90th, and most of them - 95% was with usual camry engine 2.0 or something like that - with no any turbo, moves till 100 aprx. 7-8 sec. That is and was rare small Japan key car. Nothing iconic here. Even no one racing games , where you can find it.

So true! These builds are great but it raises the question if they would be better off buying a more intact car that needs less work.

So many people watching with no real knowledge... Helps with the radiator cooling yes but more importantly helps create low pressure under the car helping hold the car to the road....

I love the ZZW30. Super light and great handling. What engine do you want in it eventually to replace the slow 1ZZ? I’ve seen both the 2ZZ and Honda K20 swaps. Both are great.
