I have a 700 r4 transmission. I brought two TV cables and I did the adjustments the way you said. But the cable would never Is ratchet out on his own. Why would that happen on both TV cables?

Update, I have had mine for about 6 months now and trans has acted perfectly, besides my WOT shifts (governor springs adjustment). However I am going to upgrade to FiTech or Holley Sniper EFI and I need to order a new kit but you guys are always out of stock!

Bolt on the Bowler Tru-Shift, attach cable at wide open throttle, let go and it sets itself precisely. No adjustments from this point on... at all?

on my 70 Impala i swapped from a 2 barrel to 4 bbl holley and my detent cable is 2 or 3 inches too short. I can put the cable to a bracket but it's too far away to reach the carb

Yes it works perfect with the Holley Sniper EFI.
