Since the dawn of time humans and animals have interacted on the landscape. Our species has hunted, fished and harvested for thousands of years. But due to the modern and disconnected 21st centry lifestyle we have forgotten our history. We have forgotten the connection humans should have with the land and our impact in the natural cycle of life on earth.
"Through Our Eyes" is our way to help reconnect the modern human to the landscape we rely on. Helping show our way of life as hunters, our interactions with animals, and the beauty of nature. A true wildlife documentary through the eyes of a hunter. Conservation and stewardship lands on all of our shoulders as humans, we must stand together.
Produced by Frontiersmen Gear in partnership with Blood Origins and the Wild Sheep Society of B.C.

An exceptional film that captures the essence of hunting. Conservation is such as easy thing to achieve when left to the right people, taking what is abundant and leaving what isn’t to flourish down the line for our tomorrow’s. I’ve hunted for 40 years now, taking deer home and feeding friends and family. There are plenty of them, I’ve always been conscious of the numbers and have shot accordingly. This film made me think of my 15 year old self surrounded by the men that taught me. They’re all gone now, but I can still hear their voices and laughter. More importantly I hunt with those same ethics and integrity. One day I’ll be gone too, but I can look back and say I did it right. These gentlemen have the right ethics and attitude to conserve what is important, the future of healthy animal populations, and the chance to hunt and eat well. A memorable adventure and great cinematography.

Awsome video tanner, and a strong message that we all need to live by. Take what we need, what we use. Just because we can have as many tags as we are allowed doesn't mean we need to fill every tag we get. Take what we need.

You Canadians sure have a lot of great hunting opportunities up there, most people that eat meat don't hunt is because they can't handle the blood and guts involved, their to scwimish and if they couldn't get someone else to get it ready for the frypan they will probably starve.

Beautiful films shots and all but the old 1886 winchester is what gave this real style points. -----Until the end when shots aren't taken with it the guy takes the other fellas modern rifle, "give me your rifle" . Why didn't they just use that wonderful old 1886? That ruined it for me, why take out that awesome old boom stick if you ain't going to use it. I live my old 86' and old 71

Hey Aaron, It was my hope to use that ‘86 but at 240 yards through a skinner site your sight picture has to be perfectly unobstructed. I felt strongly about that bull and making an ethical shot.
