God continues to amaze me with His word. The message is perfect for this time we are alive. Lord, fill me with your Holy Spirit so I can be bold in sharing Your love and the gospel. Even in my time of need. I give you my burdens and trust you to teach me and shape me to be more like Jesus. Please prepare me for eternity with You. Show me how to best glorify and honor the name above all names, my savior Jesus Christ. Lord I fall so short and like Paul said, my works are like filthy rags. Forgive me Lord and help me redeem the time to grow Your Kingdom by planting seeds of salvation. I love you Jesus. May I bless you somehow today. In Jesus I pray, Amen.

Christ means anointed one. They could have said "against His Messiah". The fact that they used Christ and not Jesus leaves the text the same. I don't think anyone could argue about that translation except that by then the reference to Christ was, in their minds and being their point, know as Jesus. I think they use the word Christ to remind them that Jesus is the promised Messiah being spoken of long before His birth.

Hi there! That verse can be found in 1 Timothy 6:20-21 O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called: Which some professing have erred concerning the faith. Grace be with thee. Amen.
