I absolutely agree with the fact that one can only change with the help of the Lord. 1 1/2 year ago I would have considered myself progressive left, but after accepting Jesus in my heart I’ve completely changed. Now I consider the Bible and the 10 commandments to be my guide and firmly believe that all lives matter! Thank you Pastor Brett for your guidance and helping a former atheist become a child of Chris through your Bible teachings and comprehensive sermons.

Yes Brett I too mark the heck outa my bibles, so ya every time i get a new one i still end up goin to my old one for a while until u get used to which verse is on which pg etc. I do the same thing. Simetimes ya i may not know exact bk ch vs etc, but ya i def prefer the paper over electronics, but i can't carry my big heavy bible w me wherevr i go. Depending on my purse or bag whatev i do hv a little bible in my purse sometimes. But it prob NT & psalms usually.

There's a difference between God's will be done and God allowing for evil to work. Thankfully, by God's righteousness, through his mercy and grace, God turns all things for his good and his glory. Like you said though, Ghengis was partially correct. God can allow something dark to occur and tuse this for his judgement in righteousness. I guessing though that Ghengis Khan didn't have understanding of Luke4:12 (KJV) 12 And Jesus answering said unto him, It is said, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God. I wonder if Ghengis repented. It wouldn't surprise me to see those such as him to be in heaven. My ego though thinks a little different...not so kindly. Lord, forgive me for this fleeting thought.

You are right we cannot legislate morality. But we can refuse to be a part of it as a nation. Abortion increases exponentially according to the closeness of abortuaries. And as you say they need Jesus.

Unfortunately, this ministry is more political than theological 😢 10% scripture and 90% going off on a patriotic, right wing, republican rant 🤦🏾‍♂️ just preach Jesus and let him do the drawing and convicting 🙏🏾
