It's kind of nuts the implication that, where this be played with a human that goes for an FC and uses whammy to grind star power, you'll only be out of star power for two sections of the song. Damn, being all-powerful on the campaign was kind of busted under that perspective.

not really, it was designed in such a way so you could get 40 stars the same way you would 5 star a song in QP+. im debating on releasing this, since even i think its OP and sorta ruins powers mode. might add it as a new option in Powers when i have the ability to.

I was wondering how this was done, and reading some of the comments, I'm liking the idea of a mod for this game. I'm just imagining a full band FC of this song with all eight powers enabled; if X-Guitar got 7M+ points, good grief... That one South Park joke is long since surpassed... 😆

yeah, it was a simple patch. i changed a value in a script in qb.pak from 2 to 8 (you are normally limited to 2 powers). you are more than welcome to join the discord server: discord.gg/Pdm7KJGMjV

the specific patch is changing g_quickplay_num_powers_allowed (qbkey: 1c745668) in scripts/guitar/menu/states/layouts/ui_quickplay_power_select.qb from 2 to 8.

such a shame they didnt actually do this for songs in quickplay back then (not counting the mode where they only allowed 2 powers selectable). Also, I wish this would be implemented in clone hero along with WTDE and other GH mods

What's your cpu, and what settings do you use for rpcs3, cus it looks like you drop frames alot even with no crowd. Also makes the audio go out of sync.

@@kernaltrap are you using cpu encoding? that can cause worse cpu performance while gaming, if you can use your gpu codec, like nvenc or amf

The combination of two of the powers allows the multiplier to max out at x36. Multiplier Extender (Lars) initially increases the max multiplier from x4, to x5, with the Extender+ (Warrior Umlaut) further increasing it to x6. Star Power Nova (Pandora) initially increases the rate that the multiplier is further multiplied when SP is active, by 3, with Nova+ (Elfin Pandora) increasing that to 6. Additionally, Speed Freak (Johnny) initially increases the base multiplier from 1, to 2, with Speed Freak+ (Nihilist Napalm) doubling the effectiveness of notes/phrases hit.

Who made the intro easier than the GH3 intro? If you cant do it the GH3 way, you are NOT a guitar hero and you did not beat dragonforce at all. No transparent notes should be allowed on that track otherwise you are cheating.
