The fruits are Mulberries. Dark red / purple when ripe. Juicy and full of natUral sugars when ripe. Sometimes nothing better than fruit on the road in hot weather! Shade, trees something you come to love, but only once you've experienced scorching heat! The leaves of the mulberty

Leaves of mulberry tree are eaten by silkworm caterpillars. Spinning silk from their cocoons is an age old craft. Wonderful videos and adventure

I'm still using pressurized Optimus kerosine stoves. Kerosine is available everywhere in the world and burns the hottest of all fuels. Unlike a sealed propane container, you always know how much fuel you have left. The heat is very adjustable. and the stoves come in different sizes to match the group size. They pack small and work at all temperatures and elevations. Something to consider for world touring, Good photo work and editing.

Great video glad you enjoyed your trip when are you doing more on camping meals I mean good home food cooking on the stove.? Please use the legs on your gas stove I noticed you were cooking with them still folded very dangerous unstable and could cause a serious accident.

Ooh a video on camping meals is a great idea! And thank you for mentioning 🙏 with not touring during COVID I forgot the stove had legs for a bit and couldn’t figure out why it was so unstable, though we did hold the pot in place to ensure nothing unsafe happened. Rest assured I rectified this as soon as I realized! But thank you for noticing and mentioning :)

Hello. Thank you for this Great video. Next year At begin june I want to ride from antalya through the mountains to alanya. I have some questions: - are there enough places where I Can get water? - is the Water to be filtered? - are there a lot of markets in the mountains where I Can buy food? - are there places in the Mountains where I Can charge my powerbank? - what Can I do to prevent bears? Thank you. If you know something that I need to know for this Trip please let me know 😊

Hey Dirk! That sounds like an awesome adventure! Great questions. We went along the coast from Alanya to Antalya so I can't speak to your specific route. I'd suggest checking out Ryan Wilson's routes on The Radavist as I believe he headed East out of Antalya at one point which may be helpful to you - theradavist.com/tag/turkey/ For the areas we were, we found a lot of the water stations that I show in this video throughout the mountains. So we were careful to fill up whenever we could. We brought a water filter that we didn't end up using, but I would still bring it again just to be safe. For how regular markets are -- it really depends on your pace and route. We tried to pass through towns to restock but some towns are so small they don't have markets so we always ensured we had back up food in case. I have a powerbank that charges my phone 7 times which I found helpful because we sometimes had several days in the Taurus mountains without access to power. For bears, we look for signs of bears like bear poop and scratching on trees and make sure not to linger or set up camp near there. We also hang a bear bag far from our tent with all scented items like food and toiletries. The mountains in Turkey can also have boars so both of those are important animals to research and make a safety plan on. Hope that helps and happy travels! :)
