People always underestimate this LeBron. This nigga was dunking all over people and was making all kinds of difficult shots but still a very efficient player at both sides of the floor. If he had someone as a backup scoring option, he would've gotten a ring in 2008-2010 and maybe even a Kobe vs LeBron finals. Crazy how trash the Cavs organization was for not getting this man a solid player during his first 7 years in Cleveland.

LeBron definitely looked like he enjoyed all his hard work to become unfuckwithable at that moment, but he ultimately didn't enjoy superhero mode, b/c for 4 straight years from '06 it never resulted in rings. That's why when he went to Miami and got even better talent around him he started to play a lot more efficient & team oriented basketball so he could win rings like MJ the year he got Phil. I think when LeBron got away from superhero mode it ended any hopes of him getting back to this form (despite only being 31 now). He developed into this superhero play style in Cleveland b/c he had nothing significant around him that could carry or lead the team. Losing in 2010 and going to Miami changed his whole body and mindset, so he never was the same after going to Wade (even tho he was still only 26 in Miami, rarely got to this level again). I highly doubt we will ever see any athlete in any sport perform like LeBron James during this 4-5 year span. (Shaq from 99-04, MJ 88-93 etc.) LBJ is probably beyond their dominance, he was literally taking nobodies deep into the playoffs (that literally went nowhere after losing LBJ). Pippen went very far after losing MJ, Kobe won Rings and Fmvps after losing Shaq. And those all came before LBJ. I don't think we'll ever see something like LBJ in Cleveland, just me.

Well lots of factors go into those things and it can be very misleading. Lebron battled lots of injuries this year too n if u really watch him he really wasn't trying too hard saving himself up for the post season. And I really don't use age arguments you only get better mentally as you get older, shooting too. Sure that's not his prime but we don't know what Lebron will do when he's that age. We can speculate but we don't know. Also a 19 year old Lebron averaged 28-8-7 so really age isn't that big a deal to me. My point is that we don't know whether Lebron would have thrived in that era or not. We don't n we never will.

@cie17689 жыл бұрын
+LaMidrange Aldridge No one plays this hard through the regular season, that's just not smart, for players/teams looking to make championship runs. Playoff/Championships are what matters for players like Lebron. And he let his team down both time in 2009 and 2010 playoffs. not even close to GOAT yet. Now if he wins some championships in Cleveland maybe he can have his name up there, or have performances like he did last NBA finals.

2008-2013 Lebron is what the hype was all about: part Magic, part Jordan, pure greatness. GOAT material. Then he got his first six playoff series (06/07), his absurd production in the 15-18 playoffs, which includes eight straight conf titles and the 3-1 comeback... now the continued elite level of play in 2020. How you not see this guy for what he is? More than any other player ever could be. Its him, Jordan and Magic as the most complete players and Lebron is first and foremost the single most valuable player of all time.

***** This is 2009. THE CAVS LOST TO ORLANDO IN THE NEXT ROUND! The Celtic series was in 2010. So who needs to get their facts straight now? In the 2009 playoffs LeBron averaged 35 points, 9 boards and 7 assists on 51 shooting. He averaged 38/8/8 vs. Orlando. THIS LeBron was shot out of a cannon, going full speed ahead. He did not have any quit in his game at this point. The quit crept in after these playoffs. After he had given his all carrying this group of journeyman and lost. This is before free agency became a dominant part of his life. Its also about matchups and for whatever reason, LeBron's teams (yes, even those Cleveland teams) dominated the Lakers. Lakers did not match up well with the Cavs. At the end of the day, though its all opinion. So calm the fuck down and stop acting like a whinny lil bitch! Sensitive ass. LOL
