Thanks for making the construction of this card so easy to follow...first time I've seen instructions for this box inside the z-fold. Correction much appreciated! This card, though dramatic and dimensional when open, would be easy to slip into a regular envelops. Because of our current "social distancing" requirements, going to the Post Office won't be happening. My grandson has a birthday in April. time to go into my paper stash and find what will work for a 10 year old boy. LOVE the idea os using acetate to elevate images. This is going to be stay-at-home fun!

Thanks, Martie! I think you'll really have fun with this one, as the design is dynamic and unusual. It's a great way to use up scraps, too. As to the correction, sometimes it's just really hard to think, video, talk and craft at the same time! I'm glad I caught the mistake because it would have totally messed up the card design. Have fun with this one, stay safe and well! Hugs!

Try it out first with cheap plain cardstock, Cheryl. Then use your pretty papers. It's such a fun design! You'll want to make loads of them!

Thanks, Jess! I hope you have fun with it. You might want to practice the box insert part with cheap cardstock first, as I recommended in the video. Have fun!

Ummmm..when you were scoring the pop-up piece, you said 8 1/2 But the screen said 8 1/4...then you said you scored the smaller piece wrong, but didn't say what the correct measurement was?
@kathyclementkathybydesign4 жыл бұрын
Hi, Sandra! Yes, I captioned the correct measurement in the frame. It is 8 1/4". Sometimes my brain gets snaggled when I'm trying to talk, stay in frame, demo, think and create all at the same time. But I did make the correction in the caption. Have fun with this one!
