Hey 1 quick question Does light have GRAVITY... I mean can ENERGY offer gravity....
@johnarizona38203 сағат бұрын
AI: According to the theory of general relativity, yes, energy can indeed "offer" gravity, as any form of energy contributes to the curvature of spacetime, which is what we perceive as gravity; meaning that even though energy itself isn't a force, it can still create a gravitational effect due to its mass-energy equivalence.
@bluewolfofl74243 сағат бұрын
@@johnarizona3820 Isn't matter a huge amounts of concentrated energy? It's huge amounts, in fact, that half a gram of matter was converted into energy (the atomic bomb) and devastated an entire city. So if I had to guess, I'd say energy (photons, in this case) do "offer" gravity.
@waynegnarlie13 сағат бұрын
Good answers. I didn't know the answer before, but I reasoned that since light is affected by gravity that it must also have some.
@bluewolfofl74243 сағат бұрын
@@waynegnarlie1 " A pulse of light carries energy and momentum, and it is deflected by the gravitational field of a massive body. Then, according to Newton's 'actio equals reactio', it is also a source of a gravitational field of its own." Your assumption is spot on as well.

Fun fact: Lincoln signed the Morrill Anti-Bigamy Act in 1862, which targeted the practice of polygamy-a central tenet of early Mormonism. While enforcement was minimal during the Civil War, the law symbolized federal opposition to Mormon practices, contributing to some negative feelings among Mormons.

@The Action Lab What do you think of repressurizing the chamber with *argon,* instead of air, for the nitrogen snow? Since our atmosphere is nearly 80% nitrogen, I think letting the air back in is like steaming the snow as the nitrogen condenses on it and heats it back up. Maybe it would last longer with argon or helium gas instead?

What's the thick fog that appears when the liquid nitrogen is thrown into the water? Is it water vapor from the air, because the air is suddenly cooling down from the evaporated nitrogen?

Floating most likely because it's ice. Ice expands and would be liter than water. Also, it's hard to tell the difference between water ice and Nitrogen ice just by looking at it. One question. You froze the Nitrogen in a vacuum chamber. So why didn't the water boil or freeze?
