That's a great question, and I'm not sure I have the best answer. One thing is that Chicago is one of the most segregated cities in the US. Sure, most major cities are segregated, but certain neighborhoods on the south and west sides are completely different to neighborhoods on the north side, for example. Maybe public policy has an impact in terms of policing and welfare programs. Having lived in Chicago for about 14 years, there's just something about it that feels different than other major cities. I'm sure there's a more academic and better answer than this, but that's all I've got!

He wasn’t on o block at all in this video and not even anywhere close to it. Most of the places he was at in this video are not even bad areas. In some of the clips he was in bad areas near the low end but it’s like the border where it starts to turn good. And in the last clip he was up north in old town which is not bad at all actually a pretty good area. Not knocking him at all though because I’m not even joking, but if he went more south or past 35th street or the bronzeville area, he would’ve for sure got shot at, at the very least
