25:55 I think that this is a great example of the Japanese esthetic. The tree and door being positioned in just the right alignment to cast such a lovely and warming shadow into the room.👍 You and your husband continually inspire me. Thank you for sharing. 🙏

Great works and awesome video 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼. I admire your attitude and thought process in not only renovating but rejuvenating the beauty of a country house. Kudos for your patience and perseverance in cleaning up 🧽 🧼 🧹 the whole property. It took years but I believe that the outcome will be spectacular ✅. Can’t wait to see your paddy / corn fields 🌾🌽

beautiful! you can tell someone really loved and cared for this place once. thanks for breathing new life into it!
I know I’m late (I missed several updates and now I’m binge watching to catch up) but I had to say something about your computer mouse. I have the same one and I’m completely in love with it; I’ll never again use any other type of mouse!! Cheers from a fellow Logi user!!

Toujours un grand plaisir de voir l’avancée de vos projets et ce magnifique paysage 🤩 !! Merci ! À bientôt ! Prenez bien soin de vous ! 🌸🌸🌸
Nice video! I would like to see a walking tour of the land that you own. I know you have done videos in the past that includes parts of your property, but I don’t think I’ve seen one where you show everything at the same time.

Find some concrete sealer like drylock from America. Paint it on floor
Hey guys, I am speculating from just a video, but I have some background in geology. Your house is backed up against a hill, and thus the ground water table can get high after a rain, so it’s possible the water from the hill will seep up to the ground surface. Consult a hydrologist / geologist. Potentially using wells and pumps to lower the local groundwater table around your house is an option.

You need a proper drainage with bigger drainage pipe, you are on wet terrain and the soil under the building is soaked with water, I would recommend depth of drainage channel/trench 1.5m.

+1, a deeper drainage trench with a significant drainage slope could help lower the groundwater level locally around the house.
its not a low ceiling its just people nowadays are alot taller than 20 or something years ago

might be condensation, plastic under the concrete minimizes the problem. God bless, Matt.6:33,Prov.3:5

Oh wow, I can only imagine how frustrated you both are. All of that work and the problem with the workshop floor is still not fixed. Your poor husband looked very defeated, his expression was a little bit funny though. Lol. I think you should first redo the workshop floor to see if the problem can be fixed and then redo the trench outside. Your reaction to bugs is very similar to mine, ha. I can't handle bugs either, not even ants. I'm currently dealing with an ant invasion because of the consistent lack of rain here in CA and the oppressive heat. I feel like my skin is crawling 😬. My mother, who I live with, is the one who handles those things. Lolololol, I'm 42, but I still run to my mother when I see a bug. My mom just laughs at me shakes her head. 😁
