Ran into Mike on a humvee forum...somehow his jeep came up, I was very impressed by that. Its got me interested in my M38A1 again. Gotta address a carb with a stripped screw and a completely clogged radiator and get it back on the road. Would like to get the body off and refinish the frame cause its all a bunch of peeling paint and surface rust. I'll have to replace the wiring harness too, its the kind where if you fool with something, the insulation starts falling off. Watching this is motivation!

Holy Cow that's Mr. Hanson. I referred one of my co-workers to him and he ended re-building his wife's old Jeep. Did a great job by the way. Very kool.

I’m guessing the item on the hood is an aluminum rv vent cover?

Cj-3a? Are you sure about that? No such that I know of, there's the Cj-2a and the Cj-3b, and the Jeep in the vid is definitely not a Cj-3b as the 3b had the "high hood" and was built from '53 to '64...that may be a ruined Cj-2a in this vid....I could be mistaken, though this would be the first time....lol...

No, cj3a's were built from 1949-1953. They had a few minior upgrades and were built to fix the slump of cj2a sales.

Great video. Tune the music down just a bit. With the volume of your voices being somewhat low, needing me to turn my volume up, then out of nowhere comes the loud music. Sorry, just a bit much for this old man's ears.
