I'm a Thrunite man of many years now - they just work, and they provide the best bang for your buck. The Archer is already awesome, and now as a rechargeable it takes the cake. If I win the Thrunite Archer 2A C flashlight, it's going into my EDC backpack.

Thrunite Archer 2A C flashlight I like that you can set the mode once and it stays there every time you turn on the flashlight. All the flashlights i've had, you have to cycle through all the modes EVERY time you use it . thanks

I really appreciate the design and thought that goes into these lights. My preference is to have a tactical switch on the back/end that is full power only, then a smart switch on the side that allows for dimming or full power via a single / double press / hold... but this definately has its place in my collection too.

Thrunite makes solid Lights, I got a TN12 about 7 Years ago and it’s still as good as on day one even though it has been in use pretty much every day. I can imagine it is the same thing with this Archer.

I've been moving away from 18650s and CR123 lights lately and accumulating more AA and AA sized EDC lights, and am considering the Nitecore as I wasn't aware of this new Thrunite which is very comparable. The only thing really throwing me off the Thrunite is the pocket clip positioning. Can someone explain the reasoning behind this? I prefer my clip up near the end where the button is because the way it's positioned now, half of the light will be sticking out of your pocket and can snag on something, potentially tearing your pocket or causing the light to fall out. I haven't pulled the trigger on the Nitecore because I prefer a slightly wider flood for EDC but these seem more spot focused.

Great size.... makes it so convenient to carry with you anywhere! Appreciate features such as not having to cycle through all the modes and being to set to your favorite mode.

It's great news that Thrunite has finally come out with the updated Archer. I've been waiting (and wanting) for a long time for this light. Thank you, Cutlerylover, for another fine comprehensive comparison review. I also like the double sized 2AA rechargeable battery. Thrunite Archer 2A C for the win! Good job, Thrunite!

I really like to have the option of carrying 2 AA batteries for emergency in case I don't have the option of charging the rechargeable one, very impressive that the Thrunite Archer can get to 1000 lumens using 2 AA batteries, I think that's my favorite of the bunch 🔥

I have carried a Thrunite 2A Archer for years. I worked as a locksmith until I retired, and I can't be without a flashlight clipped to the inside of my right pocket. You talk about survival (and the AA batteries), but AA batteries are always available. In a lot of trades, the boss buys AA batteries for the help to use in a variety of applications. That is what originally sold me on the 2AA Archer. 2AA flashlights were pretty rare when I bought it. I am looking at the new rechargeable 2AA replacement Lithium cell, and I am really thinking it is time to buy a backup flashlight. Mine has the black chromate worn off at all the points of wear...

@@GenkiMadGaming I was working as an artist in advertising - I (like you, took a correspondence course (Little Falls, NJ). I quit my job, and I swept floors at a local locksmith shop. I was an apprentice for 7 years, and learned the trade. I became one of the countries most knowledgeable designers of large master key systems. I moved, and had a business providing masterkey systems and daily service to a large hospital system, the US government, and 3 departments fo our city government. My business was bought by the hospital system (they were building 5 new facilities a year), and I worked as an employee for 17 years. Thanks for the video. I wasn't aware of the long LiIon battery that replaces 2xAA - very nice, and they include internal USB charging so the flashlights can be used with alkalines while the LiIon battery is being charged. 2xAA flashlights are a very comfortable form factor so these are popular. As usual the ThruNite entry is just that little bit better than the others, with high output and good user interface, including a side switch. If only I could win one...🥳

Very good comparison. if I was given the choice I would choose the Thrunite Archer 2A C because it has good light and is also bright with rechargeable Li-ion batteries and can also use 2x AA batteries for emergency lights and quite affordable price with excellent quality 👍

it's a very nice slim style flashlight, wanted to keep one to help in lighting, certainly very comfortable to carry all day and thrunite archer 2a c seems good to me. The light is very bright with very beautiful beams, and a 1600 mAh Li-ion battery with USB-C charging will work better than an AA battery. And I think Thrunite will rank top in terms of price and performance, I like this flashlight
@TopDog876210 ай бұрын
So the upgrades in order of importance to me are 1) new rechargeable battery (yes! excellent). 2) 30 seconds of 1000lm then steps down to the the high mode 500lm. In a light in this form factor, for its intended use, 30 seconds of 1000lm will be useful and suffice for most tasks, its a bonus. 3) Updated UI. I have both a Thrunite Archer 2A V3 and a Nitecore MT2A Pro. I bought the Nitecore as an upgrade to the 2A V3, the Archer 2A C is new and came out after the Nitecore, if the Archer 2A C had come out first I would have bought it. I use the 2A V3 frequently, it sets on a end table next to my couch. The two upgrades of rechargeable battery and 1000lm make this a must have upgrade. I do have one criticism, more of a nit pick really, why include strobe on a light like this? I could have done without the strobe mode.

Good review and comparison, the five flashlights look very similar and function well and there are advantages and disadvantages to each flashlight, but I think the Thrunite Archer 2A C is interesting because it produces up to 1000 lumens of light using a type 141000 battery with a capacity of 1600 mah. it's rechargeable with a usb-c port, plus it has a dual switch that works great and is very easy to use, and I think $39.99 is a very good price considering the specs and features on the thrunite archer 2a c. Thank you for the giveaway, good luck to everyone 🙏

Why are u still in the market? - i had one Thrunite, it failed after a couple of weeks - i got 4 Nitecores, they still work since 4 years plus... that's all i have to say! 😅
@JayP7.625 ай бұрын
You bought one, it failed. Out of how many made? That's like saying out of thousands of people with a headache one guy took Tylenol for his headache and it didn't work, so it doesn't work for headaches and should be taken off the market lol. You do understand electronics aren't 100% reliable right? One component out of many being out of its 5% tolerance range is all it takes.
