2 things. 1. The cord lockup is genius. I am not a fan of wireless anything so a cord not being able to be accidentally unplugged is awesome. 2. This is key. For most controllers (especially xbox) they all eventually start to drift. With this controller you could just buy a new stick module to fix that issue. Xbox needs to take notes here.

@Steven Gutierrez They haven't even revealed the PS5 yet. The PS5 is going to come out perhaps a year after the Xbox Series X comes out. Meaning possibly late 2021. Especially with COVID's complications.

Thrustmaster products are usually pretty decent, some of them not the best but definitely not cheap. I think a big factor is that they don't have an edgy 'gamer' styling to the aesthetics of their products, it's usually form over function. Some of their driving wheels are really excellent, but the branding and finish is always quite plain. Not saying it's good or bad, just that they're a pretty popular brand in EU and they do actually make a lot of quality products. It's good to see more competition in this space.

I live Norway and we got these. I've bought these and after 3 months use, the sticks start to have a bad travel and stick drift. Both the original sticks and the extra yellow ones that I have. I like the controller, but others have also had the same issue as me.

What do you mean by "bad travel"? Try cleaning the gold plates on the modules and inside the module slots with isopropyl alcohol.

I have used the controller for 1 week.Side plastic that sticks to handlers that removable can remove during gaming.Only connects through cable.Joysticks can easily change but you need tool for arrows.Back buttons are remappable and thats great also really useful.Deadzone and sensivity of l2 and r2 buttons are changeable thanks to software.Quite heavy and quite big and doesn't have lightbar.Buttons have clicksounds like mouse on pc.Needs screws to remove things.Have little touchpad.More healthy product than Astro C40TR(i used that too) It doesn't worth your money and i refunded and wait for ps5.We may have sony made pro controller just like xbox did.This is my review. Also we are lucky that have Airbear.

I had this controller, its a great one but it only lasted a month. Within a month, you'll experience joystick drifting so bad it makes tokyo drift seem like they are going straight. Great review. Im overall impressed with the controller. I love the software that allows you to configure the pad to your liking. I also like how all the face buttons, bumpers, D-Pad, and rear buttons are textile. Now, for the cons..my controller came with stick drift directly out the box and Thrustmaster replaced them rather quickly. I also dislike how loose the thumbsticks are and the placement of the rear buttons. I can only game thirty minutes to an hour with this controller before my hands begin to cramp. I really like the controller but I wish Thrustmaster would've made the controller more ergonomically sound.

Guys... I will definitely buy this for one reason. It's an Anti-Stickdrift controller. I was going to buy elite series 2 but after players reported for their stick drift on that controller, I changed my mind and I will buy this one... Imagine you pay $150 for a controller then you surprised with stick drifting after a 3 to 6 months. With eSwap controller there is no more stick drift issue, just buy another thumbstick pack for $30 and have fun again.

I really wanted that controller when I first saw it then found out it wasn't available here in the US so I went with a scuf vantage 2 that turned out to be complete garbage that quit working within the warranty period and scuf would only offer a 50% discount on a new one so I passed on another scuf and got the nacon revolution unlimited pro and absolutely love it and still works great after a year and a half of daily use

I had this controller since day one, my touchpad is jammed I swap modules a lot, if the modules are even a little bit dirty, controller will stop working randomly(even a particle of dust will stop it) The triggers even if they are screwed in, after a few months they will come out on their own The rubber on the sides, the side plates... they are not super durable, at least the fighting module ones. Dpad is horrible, super hard, horrible for fighting games or any arcade games that use the dpad, even the fighting dpad is horrible. The clickness is really good though. Its too expensive for what it is and all the headaches it gives me, if you can get it for 100 usd or wtv you coin is, thats fine, 150 i do recommend. I spent 190 with the fighting modules. Its actually quite hard to clean.

@@TheRealJayGutta so you're saying you had to buy a third party module for your 200$ "pro" controller bc astro didn't quite deliver on one of the biggest selling points of the controller? Mine lasted 3 weeks and I just lost hope in the modules after that. I figured I'd buy a monitor for cheaper then the astro and just stick with my ds4. Besides that at the time I didn't know how to fix the stick drift on the ds4. I found out some air duster is all you need. So..yeah if I do buy another pro controller it'll be from battle beaver bc air bear pretty much said that's the best one to go with for quite a few reasons. If that lets me down then I will just be done with all of them lol. I'm glad yours is working out for you though.

But I will say I did like a lot of the features besides the modules and if they themselves didn't need help from a third party and it wasn't 200$ I'd try like a Version2 of the c40. Airbear also said something about the motherboard in all these controllers not made by Sony just aren't as good as what you would see in the ds4 and that's another reason I'd go with battle beaver.. not to much wrong with the ds4 just minor things.. but anyways good luck I hope the c40 will work with the ps5 as well considering the c40 will probably cost half the price of it!

I like it, I genuinely do which surprised me because I haven’t enjoyed other pro controllers like the Raiju or Nacons. Haven’t tried the Astro yet. Took some getting used to but I’m enjoying it. However. I have to say that the x button has gotten a little bit stickier in its click which is a worry. Tbh I don’t use the higher up back buttons but the lower ones are fantastic.

I want, do not like the wired only part why they didn’t go same way as Astro and give you a choice. Probably won’t be pulling trigger at that price mentioned, not with the PS5 coming shortly, and already have the Astro. Maybe they will consider that and price not be that high, they can keep the customization kit priced same and make money that way even more so if lower price has more units being purchased cause the PS5’s release won’t just be the go or no go question just for myself.

Gumdropz For the price of a DS4 + BB attachment I’d definitely go for a Nacon Pro V3 wired controller. It’s barely $20 more, but the sticks are offset (if you’re into that) and much more precise than the DS4’s, plus you get 4 back buttons in a very natural position (although I still like the V2’s better) and the overall quality is great.
