The front is actually 27 layers of carbon fiber, not a plastic with carbon fiber finish.

It’s actually 21 layers which is 3mm plate but if you feel it you can see it’s just a thin carbon fiber plate that looks good but feels like normal plastic….

I just recieved my SF1000 but I’m unable to get the screen on the wheel to work. I downloaded the latest firmware to the wheel but still no joy. Did you have to download firmware to your base and wheel to get your screen to work?

There is a silver switch on the bottom of the wheel that you have to make sure it is up. If it’s not that it might be an issue with the hardware

I have the switch turned on but only the 2 logos show up but I haven’t tried downloading firmware to my t300 base. Do you think that could be the problem?

I would recommend to get the T-GT II if you can or T-GT I, I don't like the T300.

@@racing4fun384 The different bases give you different force feedback and use different mechanism for the force feedback. if you are buying your first set, maybe look at the new DD base that Fanatec just released.

Hi Braith, If you look in the video I explain how to set up the data through the button next to the screen on the left. By pressing the button and using the joystick to scroll down to the third menu you will see code master F1 2021. Also need to input the data in the game in settings under configuration.

@@michaelhelbrow7906 with regards to that it will always say f1 19/20. but check the firmware of the wheel and the settings in the game under telematry. there is nothing to change in the wheel settings!

Hi mate. Can i ask what platform you are playing on. Cos i have the xbox one x and will play f1 2020 game fine but on the 21 game it wont send the telemetry over. So wondering if its a compatibility problem. The xbox one is compatible but doesnt say xbox one x so im a bit confused so wondering what your playing on.

Hey, I use a PS5. I would check if there is a software update for the wheel itself (need to connect it to a PC) or the telematry in game making sure the UDP Is the same in both

Do you experience problems with the phase settings? Option 1 should be braking for the left pedal and trottle for the right one, but none of those modes are working correctly for me

I don't use those paddles as they can only be configured for PC and I use a PS5

I don't know why everyone complains about the QR system "having to screw a bolt in" I do with my Fanatec DD I put the fixation screw in, same concept takes a whole 10 secondsy god that's hard? I don't get it
