I recently had this issue but a fix I found is opening up the back of the wheel and check for any loose cables and also possibly not securing the wheel on the wheel base right, because the shaking of the wheel base’s force feedback can trigger random presses but that’s just a fix I found

I havent touched my wheel for a year now due to it losing connection which seems what ur talking about here. And im wondering what was causing it. Maybe the screw not in far enough not sure but id like to know

I heard its a problem with the connection on the back off the pedals. While shifting down you push it out of places. Some say a peace of folded paper behind it will work

Yes, this seems a rather "common" issue. It's not game related as I've read some people having it in iRacing and I do have this issue as well on ACC... But still no luck finding what is the issue ?

I mean that it happened because of weak mount. I have the same issue. and after some time after freeze screen is blinked when I turn the wheel. I added capacitor on the power of the wheel and screen only freezes. I consider also to try conducting grease of ps/2 connector. the question: does the steering wheel is occasionally unscrewed?

Actually it is cause the wheel needs to be connected to WiFi, to fix this problem connect your wheel to WiFi and it will solve the issue. I have tried it on my wheel and it hasn't froze since then.

@@alt2484 I completely solve the issue. To solve the problem you should tighten the fixing nut very strong. I used 3d printed grip to fixe the nut under the wheel.

The same happened to me but the whole screen and LEDs froze. I had to unplug the wheel completely.

I played that game with another wheel and that's happened to me, so it's not the wheel just bugs in F1 by Codemasters

Thrustmaster sucls. Many issues in my last Thrustmaster F1. No assistance no contact.

sf1000 have gear problems and frozen screen problems, if you play on a ps4. Had the same problem on two sf1000 wheel add-on until I return it. If you buy T-Chrono paddles may solve the problem for a while, it work for me for 4 months.. but the problem always comes back at some point. Sf1000 has more problems too, if you own a T300-base then you will lose force feedback a lot.. you must buy a GT 2-base. If you play on a PS4 don't buy sf1000 wheel add-on. it will cost a lot of money for something that doesn't work and a lot of time.

Make sure that in game setting is set to F1 2020 not 2021.

@@alt2484 cheers for reply. Issue was we can't get wifi in our shed it's ethernet so I ended up returning it it turns out it was a damaged coil cable within the base at manafacture

@@alt2484 You can't connect it to iRacing with Wifi. This wheel have a lot of problems, it also have a delay in the telemetry

@@marceloleonicio1320 wait really you can't connect it to iRacing with WiFI, I didn't know because I don't play it, btw i don't really know any other problems and I've had my wheel for a while, never noticed a delay, maybe you got a bad one or the software for iRacing is still buggy (which wouldn't be surprising). The only thing i would say is bad about the wheel is the lack of game support and the fact there isn't a proper Delta in it, there is sector delta but not ongoing delta.
