I also thinking of P310 open wheel, could you tel how thick (in cm/mm) is this wheel, as i cannot find this info, for example i jad fanatec bmw gt2 rim but it was too slim, i think you understood what i mean what thickness it has , as size i know from vertical to horizontal. Thanks

@@michampunkt1353 my hands are not very large, just medium :) just wondering if to go with sportline competition 30cm wheel or this one, mainly gt3/gte and tcr cars.

Got the p310 along with the tsxw set pack. The plastic buttons base in the wheel itself is making the clicking sound which made me doubt if the wheel base is malfunctioning. Although it only happens when you maxed out the ffb, it's just driving me crazy. Im not sure if its just me. Thanks for the review btw.

I haven't tried the TSXW so I don't know if that's common. Does seem odd though.

same man, it was super annoying. Try to mount the screws stiffer as they are, it helped a bit.

@@EddieInChina well i ordered it from amazon warehouse in like new condition for 100 euro. I got 25 euro discount because of the problem. I think u coule even write thrustmaster and try to get a return. Funny enough it bothered me so much that i didnt use it and used other rims. But after a while i resused it and the sound almost isnt there anymore. So it isnt botherming me anymore

@@Martin-vn9fr thanks for replying. I found the same thing as you. Let it rest for couple hours and it's gone but will be happening again a short while later.. Will try some other wheels amd see if the problem is really the wheel itself.

thinking of using this as a starting wheel for a VRS directforce. did you manage to test if there was much flex in this rim with a DD base?
@fredsas12 Жыл бұрын
From my own experience; (I'm using a TM Sparco R383 with the USB convertor mod, but I have a real Sparco P310 with a Simline BPv3 DC), the USB convertor actually vastly increases the rigidity and longevity of the TW wheel since its no longer a plastic quick release and now fully metal with the TW BP sitting around the structure itself. I'm using both on an Asetek Invicta, which is a 27nm DD base and its holds up pretty well.

Can anyone find an f1 style, open wheel or gt3 style rim that can be fitted to a thrustmaster tmx that doest break the bank. I know there is no quick release for it but is there nothing like the logitech g29/920 mods but for the tmx. Thanks
@SimRacingCorner2 жыл бұрын
The TMX rim is moulded with the button plate which makes it's impossible to mod. The Logitech rim is a seperate piece enabling mods to be possible.

Does anyone know the bolt parts of the 6 bolts holding the wheel rim to the buttons?
@jochenkraus70169 ай бұрын
Do you mean the bolt pattern? At 4:40 he mentions that it's 55mm instead of 70mm. When I saw hat wheel I thought I could get it as a carrier for different rims but that won't fit :-(

Hello Sim Racing Corner I’m now thinking to buy the TS-XW Servo Base instead of the TX Servo Base. Is that a good choice?
@SimRacingCorner2 жыл бұрын
I haven't used the TS-XW, but I my expectation with the extra bump in power output that it will make a good difference. The more powerful the motor, the better force feedback is the general rule. If you have the budget, personally I would go for the TS-XW.

Hello Sim Racing Corner, I need your opinion. I have now the Thrustmaster TMX Force Feedback with pedals, but I want a bit more F1 style so I saw the Thrustmaster Open Wheel Add-On with the TX Racing Wheel Servo Base. So I want to buy that but is that the right choice, because I don’t want it to be less better. I hope you see this and give your opinion!
@EddieInChina2 жыл бұрын
TSPC set came with an F1 wheel, if I remember correctly.
@SimRacingCorner2 жыл бұрын
The TX force feedback is a quite a bit better than the TMX. The ffb TX is stronger, and the wheel rotates more smoothly. The ffb effects feel more refined and detailed. Definitely a good upgrade over the TMX.
