Hi bro. Do you know which handbrake can be used on consoles in exactly the same bundle as yours? I'm planning to buy a t300+th8s, playing on ps5, but for drifting I need a handbrake, and as I realised there are problems with it on console

Hey there, If I am to pick a handbrake with my setup, I would choose the thrustmaster TSS handbrake sparco mod, compatible with PC and consoles.

You can change the gear only when you press the clutch right?? Or does shift without the clutch I'm planning to buy Sim same as yours, gear shifting is realistic right?? I heard you can change gear shift without the clutch in thrustmaster?? Is it true?

Hey bro, yes you can change the gear with the clutch and also you can change the gear without the clutch. Actually if you are playing assetto corsa, it depends on the car itself because modern cars to hypercars in reality that use a paddle shifter doesnt have a clutch. So when it comes to the game, sometimes you will encounter, you can use your shifter but youre clutch is useless. However, when you play GT7, you can always use your clutch with the shifter. On my experience its based on the game. By the way my platform is PS4.

Hey there, my clutch is working on the same platform (PS4) and same game. Before you begin any race you may check some toggle options to do some manual controls. Piece of advise, plug in the shifter via USB to the PS4. I tried to plug in the shifter directly to the wheelbase via DIN cable and encountered issues with clutch and shifting. Hope this helps.

If you havent figures it out by now 1 many of the modern cars in ac wont have a clutch 2 in controller u cant use clutch for some weird reason 3 check the settings and if the clutch works in other games 4 if it still wont work then idk what to do

No, just connect the shifter via USB straight to the console and leave the port from the wheel base in case you have the thrustmaster handbrake.

And an aftermarket shifter I bought from Amazon which you say works if I connect via usb on my pc. I’ll be using it to drift on carx drift racing hopefully it works! Thank you for responding

@@yorha2j525 if you are using a console like PS4, please dont connect the TH8s shifter directly to the T300 wheelbase. It has some issues, better use it via USB to the console. If you are using a PC, then much better plug the shifter via USB, and if you also have a handbrake plug it via USB.

Yes, the force feedback is very strong and I think the wheelbase itself of t300 is compatible with other thrustmaster's wheels as an upgrade. Not really sure about T248, better check out on their site. For me T300 is all worth it.

T248 uses gear and belt t300 uses belt only so t300 is better

You will not regret getting the T300RS...it is one of the best in business apart from Direct Drive which is obviously expensive. I was about to go for G29/923...but I came across T300 and man..I just can't let go of the steering wheel.

I just have a question, is it only me or my gas and clutch don't go all the way in on my T300, also sometimes i load into the game and the brake is pressed half way in and my foot is of the brake, and when i press the brake sometimes the brake light stays on or is flickering, only me or?

Hey there, It could be the firmware I guess. Do check out on the thrustmaster website how to check/update the firmware of T300RS. I know these things have its own firmware just like the shifters but only accessible on PC to update.. By the way, mine is connected on PS4 so I haven't tried it yet. I didn't encounter those issues too..

Hey there, not really sure... better check out the thrustmaster website as T150 is compatible with TH8A. I believe the difference between the two (TH8S) is just the build quality and functions, as TH8s only function in H pattern. No sequential like th8a

Hey there, I believe TH8A is much better than TH8s when it comes to build quality (metal) and functions since TH8a can be used as a sequential +/- shifter and H- shifter... while TH8s can function only as H-shifter and build quality is plastic. I know its plastic but the build quality, texture and details is pretty solid. It's worth a try if you are not planning to use sequential shifter like for Rally. Do check out my other video as I tried using H shifter on Rally race 😅

I want one that sturdy enough to handle my hard shifting and be able to adjust height of the wheel, shifter and seat (for shorter people). Thanks again.

​@@Omer-xb2gkThey're both just 'okay' shifters in their stock form. The TH8S is cheaper and feels similar, but the TH8A has a wide aftermarket of mods to make it feel better. I have something on my TH8A called the 'Clix Beetle', I believe, and it makes the shifting way snappier and stiffer. At max tension, the TH8A/S are still soft compared to a race car or even a sportier car like a mustang
