Wait, the extra spring is even more stiff?? The default one is already too stiff, my whole ring moves when I press the brake now. Dang it.

Same here. The default one is superrr stiff. Any solution?
@jonnyk5 Жыл бұрын
@@MrDukkeei mean you can buy springs at any tension, its super easy that they designed it this way too. You could probably just measure the spring and buy a different one from any hardware store
@jamesbrook5306 Жыл бұрын
Did you get a softer spring because that's the reason I am here
@lukestroud2098 Жыл бұрын
@@jamesbrook5306 you could do that or what i did is i just took out the white spacer thing and the 2 red things so its just metal, the spring is way lighter now plus now it feels a bit more like a real car brake to me, idk you could try that
@Gtagvr794 Жыл бұрын
You just remove the red plastics and the white thing and put back the black thing and it should be easier

The middle pedal spring broke a few years ago. Base spring on the left pedal which I use for throttle lost tension. The pedals lasted 5 years, way longer than the pedals that came with my wheel.

Hi my t3pm throttle pedal isn't going to 100% when I press it to maximum, it goes to like 75%, is there a fix?
@RaceSimCentral10 ай бұрын
I'd ask Thrustmaster support (twitter might work for that), but in games you can often set a min and max on pedal input. Just set the max to a lower angle. It's a bit of a weird issue to have these days, so hopefully tm can help with that.

I remember my basic t3pa 2 pedal set plastic brake pedal literally broke in half so then i got the metal t3pa pro. Now the spring in that brake pedal is knackered. I want to have these T3PM pedals. Whats the durabilty of the brake pedal. Everyone is saying it's too stiff so what I'm worried about is the plastic. Won't break in half will it?
@FairladyS1303 ай бұрын
A normal car brake pedal has a little bit of free play then when that is taken up pressure should quickly build up as the pedal is depressed. The pedal should then end up rock solid which the standard Thrustmaster spring system allows but after way too much travel.

Is there a separate driver download for this pedal set? I had them on the PS4, but Gas is where the clutch is and the brake is accelerated. Do you know if that is the case? My pedals were originally T3PA, and the add-ons are T3PM. Do you have any ideas?
@andrewbartja7206 ай бұрын
Sounds like you have them inverted, for if you mount the pedals upside down. There should be instructions for that if you download the wheel manual. Eg. For the Tmx, the light should be orange, not green. For the 248, it is an option in the display. Hope that helps

Has anyone tried cutting the springs in half ad having black on bottom and silver on top for a softer start into a harder load? the softer (silver spring) would compress before the hard spring does.
@RaceSimCentral5 ай бұрын
@@WarpaintStudios I’d probably push the spring half into some really touch foam or something, maybe rubber

Is the tightest spring comparable to TLСM? I want to replace my T3PA, since the brake is too soft and is no good. Is it possible to get by with these if you don't play simulators professionally? Are they much better with a tight spring than T3PA? Yes, there is a rubber stopper, but it is disgusting.
@mimidotcat2 жыл бұрын
Not sure about the TLCM, but they're much better than T3PAs. Both the clutch and gas pedals are quite better, they feel pretty solid and smooth but it's not a significant upgrade. The brake pedal though, I've been using it with the hard spring and the difference is astonishing. Highly recommend them, specially considering the hall sensors instead of the T3PA's potentiometers.

@@RaceSimCentral Hey, i had the base pedal set from tmx (2 pedal set) and accelerator `s spring doesn't push it back anymore. So I am thinking to buy T3PM`s. Would it be a logical upgrade with the TMX? And is it possible to experience this faulty accelerator pedal after some usage by T3PM too? Thank you!

Can You buy the spring anywhere
@RaceSimCentral2 жыл бұрын
Probably eBay, or ask Thrustmaster. You may also be able to find one at a hardware store, or even have one made.

If it was not included with your pedals you must contact Trustmaster. They will send you one for free since it was a production fault if it wasn't included.

Maybe you are too weak 😂 No Jokes aside, you need a Really high force to move the Red Ring and Release the spring, dont be too careful, its all build sturdy and you really can not damage anything except you use a lever or some other tool.
