10:13 people wo are thinking about to buy this ts-pc, i can tell you by my own experience the ts-pc is not at all only a t300 on steroids, its just muchhhh faster and just so much more detailed about the feedback, people want to set their t300 on 100 forcefeedback, this ts-pc its with 75 percent forcefeedback much stronger than the t300 with 100. by the way the nM is a little bit more than the csl elite and a little bit less than the clubsport v2.5

I'm having a hard time taking this reviewer serious tbh. I always feel like she's a big Fanatec fan no matter what. Perhaps because she's heavily supported by them? The CSL elite has or had this issue with FFB where it would make this odd rattle noises, as if there was a rock put inside the wheelbase. Many people complained and were pretty worried about this sound. Simracinggirl would completely bypass that issue with saying that it has been resolved with an update that brought FEI setting, and by lowering this setting the (annoying) rattling would disappear. In reality it doesn't fix anything imo, all it does is take away from the FFB. With Thrustmaster on the other hand she goes on and on about the cogging, when in reality you hardly feel any cogging at all whilst driving etc etc. I mean you get alcantara and she's complaining about the material being used :c. Bottom line i feel she's way stricter towards Thrustmaster and seems very forgiving when it comes to Fanatec. This is not what i'm looking for when i'm looking for an honest and open minded review.

@@dqve11 She works for Fanatec now but not sure when that started, maybe mid 2018. I find this review quite lacking. She doesn't really go in to much detail regarding torque and range, overall feel etc and should have made comparisons to the 300RS or CSL Elite base. Go check out Sim Racing Garage for Barry's review of the TS-PC Racer Ferrari 488 Edition. He's very detailed and often hard to please lol, but he was very impressed with the TS-PC and really put it through the paces.

Nice review, it feels/sounds very genuine! a friend of mine bought the TS-PC and i just both the CSL elite (PS4 Bundle). We compared them and now his looking to return his TS-PC. He was pissed that I got metal pedals and a nice wheel with rev lights and a leather finish with my base. But that didn't make him want to return his TS-PC, only after setting up our rigs next to each other and switching from seat to seat his face went pale :), He literally said: "How can TM ask 550 for this toy!" I'm so glad I went with fanatec and it's good to hear somebody telling the truth about the TS PC.

A wheel set that cost 1400 euros??? CSL Elite cost 519 euros with two pedals which are much better than the shit than TM give. And this TS-PC you just can use it on a PC. So I don't see the point to buy this product instead the CSL.

I know this comment is three years old but my t300 is driving me insane. I like heavy ffb but it overheats fast (even with forced cooling) What setting a do you use? And how do you overcome the over heating. I really want to get on with this wheel but I can’t have it how I like without the feedback fading.

Having used the TS-PC for several months now as an upgrade to my T300 it is certainly a better wheel but not almost £300 better. I'd say about 25% better if I had to put a figure on it. I'd similarly say the Fanatec CSL Elite isn't worth £300 more than the T300 either - I think the T300 is the best value wheel out there TBH. Diminishing returns kick in badly jumping from the T300 and the only way I think you get a big enough improvement in product from there is to go to an SW20 DD wheel which really transforms the racing experience for a very reasonable price/performance balance. I love the formula wheel that comes with it. My leather 28 GT wheel has hardly been used since I got it. The chunky grips feel great though the material is indeed poor - if you don't use gloves you'll destroy it. I replaced mine with leather which is fantastic and withstands all my sweaty hands can throw at it. The stickers are also removable. I'll not buy TM products again after the awful customer service I got from them when my TS-PC developed a fault after 2 weeks (I fixed it myself after they said the fault was "normal" and they would not repair it - see my video on the "normal" sound coming out it kzbin.info/www/bejne/gqLblXiknaeVrs0) - however the wheel is excellent to use and since fixing the fault it's been flawless. The wheel with the stickers does indeed look toy like but the base is really nice and looks the part. If aesthetics are important it's way nicer than the CSL Elite and just the standard wheel makes it look more toy like - the Fanatec formula wheel wins hands down on looking more like serious kit, until you remove the stickers and replace the felt grips on the TC-PC formula rim that is :) So i'd say if you are looking for value - get a T300 and some after market pedals. If you want something a bit stronger it's a toss up between the TS-PC and a CSL Elite.

You are right, the t300 is a value win if you looks what it give to you for that price but it comes with shit pedals and as you said this brand is not trustworthy. I had two t300 and both were faulty and the customer service tried to convince me that the wheel is not made to play it over the 60% of its capacity. They told me that if I wanna play Assetto Corsa with 80-100% of force feedback I had to buy the T-GT. A product which cost 799 euros and still comes with shit pedals. Ridiculous!!! Now I have an amazing CSL and I won't trust TM again, they are just a bunch of scammers.

The biggest difference of the fact that the ts-pc wont overheat and suffer ffb fade. I've experienced this with the thrustmaster tx leather edition and it's extremely frustrating! Even with the firmware update and forced fan on, the motor simply overheats and completely ruins the force feed back experience after it 15 mins. I've just sent it back and I'm upgrading to the ts-xw

One of the more in depth reviews I've seen. I also like how Raceroom was the first sim you played. R3E is very underrated when it comes to racing sims and has some of the best feeling force feedback to me.

Not good ffb to me,but there are a million settings,but what ones to tweak?,it felt lifeless on my g27,the best ffb is from rfactor2 and iracing.

Jellybeantiger it’s actually feels more alive than the rest when setup right. Raise all of the different settings while practicing to get a feel for what they do. Once you get it set up good you’ll love it. It used to be great out of the box. You have to do some tweaking to the settings now since they’ve done some updates.

I got to get behind this wheel at Ricmotech Simulators in the US here. I have owned a T500RS F1 Integral for 5 years and when I tried this wheel out, there was a big difference for me. Its more efficient, smooth and strong compared to my T500. I felt better inputs from the wheel around curbs and such as well. If your a T500 owner, get this wheel while you can!

Got the Xbox + PC version of this wheel with a very good discount. My rig cannot handle direct drive bases and the CSL is literally sold out and 350 € more expensive. Hopefully it is a great upgrade from my G920

That cogging feeling you're getting is from the belt drive. Thrustmaster uses a toothed belt which will never experience belt slip like Fanatec's belts.

Thanks for the info, didn't know that. I've just ordered a TS-PC with 488 rim and a T-CLM Load Cell pedals to replace my 10 year old Logitech G25. I'm assuming it will be a major step up in every aspect although I do wonder about the longevity of the base unit.

Thanks SRG, This wheel is $452 US as of Oct 2018 i have this wheel any many others Ts Pc is 50% stronger than t300 take the TM plate off wheel wrap with carbon fiber vinyl adds $50 look lol. Also you need to set these wheels up correctly they will feel as good or better than the other team for allot less

Is the fanatec csw v2.5 worth getting or save up for a osw, here's the story with me I live in australia for me to get the csw 2.5 will cost me $820 +$399 for the formula carbon rim. while the osw will cost me $1900 for the base and the psu then I have to get a qr will will cost about $80 then I got to get a rim the fanatec formula black plus a corversion kit for it to work with a osw which will sent me back about $60 so all up to get the csw 2.5 running will cost me $1219 while the osw will cost me $2450 to get up and running so what do you think I should do?

Thoughtful, well made video. Got a T300 base myself and my only gripe with it is that the RS wheel is so heavy, numbing some of the effects when using lower end FFB values. As you have access to a T300 base, have you thought about trying the apparently a fair bit lighter TS PC rim with it? I wonder if it makes as much of a difference as I think it might.

Had two and they both bricked due to USB connection issues. If you disconnect the USB at varying times, the unit gets fried. There is no fix other than RMA back to Tmaster and a 2+ week turnaround.

10 times better than the T300. T300 is not strong enough, it overheats and loses power early. It also is too "springy". These are all things that the ts-pc racer does not suffer from, and if you race at top level, is very important. I do agree with the rim, just not good enough and I wish it had leds. clogging, yes and no. when racing the wheel is surprisingly smooth, in my opinion faster and more responsive to change of direction compared to majority of the competition.

before you buy the thrustmaster tspc racer I would read up on it,when I receive mine I used it probably about 2 hours, wen't to use it the next day it was dead totally would not work nothing no power no LED lights not anything,tried hooking it up on another computer,tried another power cord USB cord nothing,$460 seriously I would read up on it and see what the troubles people have had,after wrestling with this thing for about 2 days I plug my old wheel back in thrustmaster TX perfect I hope this help somebody from making the same mistake that I made.

if you have the budget for a TS-PC, you should have a look at Fanatec CSL Elite PS4 edition (also works on PC) Including Metal Pedals!! Go for that and you leave the toyish feeling behind!
