Tin Man what's the point of going somwhere with someone if you aren't going to enjoy the company? You don't have to talk about serieus stuff. Whenever I hang out with friends even if I see them every single day I still have a fun time with them. And if I have a gf, at the end of the day when I have visited her I want to be able to look back at it and say I had a fun time. Not just have someone sit next to me cause I don't want to be alone.

Intake of foods high in vitamins C is the best way to guard against infection( peppers, papaya, citrus fruits++) also lavender essential oil would have healed that cut, for burns or cuts its awesome I literally always carry it.

kevinbrueck Hey! Thank you so much!I've got a 5D3 and a series 1 24-70mm 2.8 on it this whole trip. It was brutal out there and I needed to be as light weight as possible. Solar chargers for battery charging, laptops that were overwhelmed with the heat which made dumping the footage to the hard drive very challenging. All in all though..... it was an incredible experience.

I went to Taiwan and China two years ago with a group of students from my university and it was definitely a culture shock. From the flight itself to the food to the different towns....it was crazy. And NOTHING can prepare you for that 13 hour flight. Oof. That hit me HARD coming back home. One funny thing I learned: In Taiwan, 7-11 is like a really well known store so there's one on every corner. It's almost like how we have Starbucks everywhere in America. In Taiwan, if you need something you go to 7-11. 😂

I wish I had been able to tell y'all about poultices when Pat cut his finger there. A turmeric poultice would have been just the ticket for a wound like that. It sucks out the infection, and at the same time speeds up healing. (Turmeric is my go-to, I keep it in my first aid kit. It aint a sacred herb for nothin!) If you couldn't get any turmeric at the time, I am betting there was more than one thing you did have available that would have done the job. Poultices are basically real life magic...and they are cheap! Check 'em out!

Last Wednesday when my night shift was over a was so excited to go home that I hurt my finger with my locker, it is a small locker and is almost full of stuff right now so I have to reach on top of all that stuff to leave my things right?, but in the inside there is a nasty sharp metal frame all around it, I guess they designed it that way to prevent someone reaching inside it or to make sure nothing slips out of it when is closed, let me tell you it hurts! I think ours hands are designed to withstand some roughness because we use them all the time, your hands can stand a lot of pressure and you can KO someone or even fracture someone with them, but there is something about cuts that they hurt regardless of how tough you are, my guess is that it works that way so your body lets you know how important are your hands and that you should take care of that wound or it'll get infected and God forbids, the human body is amazing... I'm sure everything will turn out alright and you will have some stories to tell when you're back.
