Thug Life - That's How I Lived! l V-Ten (Samir Ghising) l The Storyyellers

Vten aka Mr. Samir Ghising is a young Nepali rapper and songwriter in Nep-Hop industry.
After S.L.C., most of the students come to Kathmandu to pursue higher studies. But for Vten, he came to Kathmandu to learn Thangka painting. As growing up, he was passionate about painting, dancing, and football. It was a dream come true for him to be able to learn painting and play with brush and colours. Although he joined college, he eventually dropped out because of his lack of interest in studies.
Later he got into some bad habits because of his peer pressure. Things were getting rough with his uncle because of that, so he had to leave their home and start living on his own. He had to struggle a lot. In the meantime, he found his new passion for rap. He loved it so much that he ultimately decided to make it his career. Here Vten shares about his rap music career journey and how incidences in his life turned him into a rapper.
Recently VTEN has been arrested by Nepal Police for using what they call 'anti social language' in his lyrics in one of his songs. The free VTEN movement is currently widespread, demanding freedom of expression.
