well....you basically put Steffen in a room together with the guys from The Spirit and you have Dissection 2.0 :D you, it may just be my opinion, but in Death Chuck gave the musicians (especially since Human) more space to bring in their individual sound - although he was the creative force. With Dissection i think it was always Jons personal vision of how a song had to sound and the musicians around him and their own style weren't as important, as long as they delivered what Jon had in mind. What i wanna say is: i don't think you don't really need the other Dissection Guys as much as you may need, for example, a Steve Di Giorgio for Death To All ;-)

Oh, und Dark Funeral bringen ne neue Scheibe raus, und die klingt wieder wie in guten alten Zeiten. Das Cover sieht nicht nur aus wie damals The Secrets of the Black Art, die Musik klingt auch wieder so :D Sehr schön. Der Black metal erlebt einen neuen Frühling... oder Winter.. naja, er lebt eben wieder auf... :D im positiven Sinne natürlich :D

Dissection is one of my few absolute favorite bands of all time, so I finally listened to these guys’ albums after being told over and over again to check them out... the mere fact that any band would dare to become Dissection's successor is insulting to their memory to begin with. I am currently writing black metal myself, so I know how difficult it is to find your own unique style that is good but at the same time different from what the bands you love have done, I too know how difficult it is to write catchy good songs, and then how easy and tempting and mediocre it is to learn your favorite songs and then just meddle around and write "new" songs based on the same scales, chords, etc. This pisses me off so much because I think many of us who are die-hard Dissection fans and who happen to be musicians too would love to have the honor of being Dissection's worthy successors and then these clowns come with the most mediocre, generic, copycat, passionless, dullest songs and they get the title. If you are going to try to take on the legacy of such a great band after it died, at least make the fucking effort of writing music that will be comparable to what they did and don't release horseshit you wrote in 5 minutes. This guys will never even be a 1000th of what Dissection ever was, such fucking disgrace...
