Love this! Thanks so much - so much to explore and work on. As a relatively new double bass player, whether to actually put the thumb down or not has always confused me. It seems then that in Rabbath, 1) the thumb has two anchor points, both at harmonics, and 2) its actually mostly used as a harmonic, rather than a "closed" note. Is that right? I guess you could just use the thumb as another "finger" to stop notes, but that seems a lot harder!
