@alexdalong i'll give merit where it's due. the sea is rising/bullet and a target are both tracks i gave decent rotation, but if you have a look you will find alot more artists out there with better wordplay, intellect and insight. and what i'm really getting at is it's not hip-hop or even rap anymore, it's pop. technical rappers don't get airplay. why? because the broader public can't understand it Hip-Hop is protest music. go have a look at where it came from and how it started

@bestinterest29 Man the American hiphop that raps about guns bitches etc is just a tiny bit of the whole thing. That is just the shit mainstream stuff. Dont confuse that from "American style". I like good hiphop in general. Illy, BnE and Horrorshow are some of my favourite artists but there is tons of good stuff coming out of America too. Australian hiphop is not the only one that raps about having a laugh and a good time.
