Leon Rose fooled us, we thought we had a title contender here, the Knicks are fugazy nothing more then a second round exit, they traded every asset they had and they still dont have a championship team lol. They are not even close to Boston, OKC, Cleveland or even Houston, they have feasted on bums for that 9 game win streak and have not beaten 1 top team yet.

As a Thunder fan the reason I think OKC is deep is because they constantly have given the young guys opportunities the past few years. Even this years 2nd RD pick Ajay Mitchell avg. 15min a game before he was hurt. If the young guys like Dieng in OKC can’t get minutes the Thunder send them to the G-League. But everyone gets opportunity and have had to play through their mistakes to build this chemistry we see. I believe most of OKC roster is made up of 2nd RD picks other than Chet, Shai, Dub, Cason. GG’z from a Thunder fan hope y’all turn it around as our Blue & Orange brethren in the East 🤝

It was a bum night tonight. One team is serious about going all the way to the finals. The other- is not. Contender versus pretender. OKC versus KFC. I’m actually glad I missed most of the game. This team is missing punch, an edge, an identity and yeah.-Defensive cohesion, stability, consistency and fight. No one on this team is a defensive threat in the interior. A soft (Twinkie) interior defense softens the perimeter D and the Knicks became a delicious dessert item for OKC. I’m glad we’re done with them for the year which were 2 guaranteed losses. Still have CLE x 3 and BOS X 3. 😮

I agree I think the minutes are playing a part. But the players make some bone headed fucking plays on defense. Leaving a guy open-- the nearest defender is a football field away. Not boxing out. Just not passing the ball no cutting. I mean, where is the thinking on the court?! I also think it's that KAT and Brunson are playing hurt and it's really worrying me. Thibs squeezes every win he can get out of the team, in a way that it's ALL HANDS ON DECK every game, but man. Tonight's 25 point walloping is why our Knickerbockers are not championship contenders. KAT disseaappears or has nonimpactful games against the great teams. KAT is a mediocre at times bad interior defender. JB is a ballhog, his 3 ball is gone, and plays no defense. OG and Bridges are light switches on offense. Our bench sucks. Thibs drop coverage and constantly packing the paint defense is trash. Thibs do not understand that most not all most coaches go 10 and times 11 deep so the starters burn out. Bridges, OG, and Hart are top 3 in total minutes this year. JB is 7th in total minutes per game. KAT plays the most minutes for a center this year. We are dead last in bench points. We are 9-11 vs teams with a 500 or better record. We are 0-5 vs teams like the Rockets, Thunder, Cavs, and Cs. There are no buts about this. We are pretenders. Simple as that. Some will understand that and agree with my opinion. Some will disagree, deny, and not truly understand this even when the evidence is right smack in their face. I know Mike Breen would never do this on MSG Network. He should have said a BANG call for the Thunder because they were sizzling hot from the land of the triple.

Its early january and the knicks are already tired and burnt out, have lost focus, cannot concentrate anymore, have no legs to play defense and are little by little, getting injured. Thibs is so obsessed with winning, he doesnt anymore see the forest for the trees. Hate to say it. He's an idiot. Dadiet, hukporti, toppin and kolek should be battle ready by now. But theyre not. George, we all understand your frustration, for we, Knick fans, should all be upset. This team doesn't show up in big games ! This game exactly reminded us what happened at the opening in Boston, when this team looked lost and outclassed by the Celtics. Although they're playing home, they still look like a visiting team, scared and turning the ball all over the court. Players and coach looked all scared at the very beginning of the game. The road team acted more like in control than the host team itself. Whose job is it to call time outs, galvanize the team, and shoot up their confidence? At the end, we still could lose the game, but we could make it competitive more or less like the game in Oklahoma. That game was already lost at the very first quarter ! You know what George ? A coach like Pat Riley would have called time out at the very first minutes, and play his bench, totally. You know what? Thereafter, the game would have totally changed in our favor...

Many pro football players played offense and defense in high school and excelled but as Division 1 college and definitely NFL players, they don’t. Why? Olympic sprinters don’t run heats on the same day and even fewer do both the 100 and 200 meters races. Why? No saying that Brunson dont want to pass him, it is more that he overthink his passes to Towns. Then he passes the balls to Hart, Sims or OG that are not our best shooters. I would trade Mitch/ Precious for Jonas Valunciunas, Myles Turner, Nick Richards, or Isaiah Stewart. I would trade Cam Payne, Matt Ryan, Tyler Kolek, or Pacome Dadiet for Seth Curry, Malik Beasley, or Ben Mathurin. I would considering firing Thibs for Mike Brown, Frank Vogel, or Monty Williams.
