They're only putting 15 more ultimates in the game. I mean, it could happen, but it's hard to imagine guest characters like Arbiter getting the ultimate treatment.

+TrumpKingsly It's probably not gonna happen. Some people on the reddit forum said that the original cast is more likely to get the ultimates first. However, since guest characters like Arbiter means a lot to Season 3 (He's more or less the posterboy, it seems ... which is kinda eh imo), I can't help but imagine Arbiter is getting an ultimate too.

Gotta say, for an "Ultimate", which are supposed to be KI's equivalent to MK's "Finishers", this one feels weak... I mean, it just looks like they recycled a bit of his moveset; and the camera work that pans upward to make it seem that is is implied that the other character is dead is far too PG for a series as bloody as this. I like the little humor with the fake-out, but the overall execution (no pun intended) feels very weak. Almost MK vs. DC weak...

heh...ACTUALLY pr0n9z...they were both supposed to be the fatalities of KI. Only difference is an Ultimate could only be done mid-combo in danger status. No Mercies could be done at the end of the match with a dizzy opponent.

Do keep in mind that KI is rated T not M. You can't do over top gory finishers like you can for MK so you're expecting too much if you want to see bloody finishers. I do agree that some of these are just lame though like Maya's & TJ Combo's. Tusk's is the best one I've seen so far but this isn't too bad.

Ryuji I feel you on that but KI has always been a teen rated game. The rating system today cant allow it to get as brutal as it was in the old days. I agree they couldve put more effort instead of recycle his moveset. As usual they are rushing things with the game. Ultimates shouldve been applied since season 1. Microsoft should give them enough time to put real ultimates in with newly created animations.

With all respect guys developers of Killer Instinct, I grew up playing the SNES version, and I'm a bit disappointed with this ultimate (the Rays are perfect, the other not so much) make a better effort, do something more shocking, take note of mortal kombar , Not so bloody, but more exciting. They are cool and all, but I think putting in a button combination to play a cutscene is pretty weak gameplay. How about if it was more fluid with the gameplay, it'd look so much nicer and more smooth of a transition from combo to ultimate. EDIT: Like Shadow Jago's! Watch that and then watch this or Jago's and you'll see how it's much smoother with Shago, and not a custscene like these new ones.
