Your richening it all the time, you need to lean the mix, clockwise until its running right. Ttr engines are the easiest to tune imo but because of the weight of the trucks the tune has to be a little different, usually a little leaner. Example now: I own 2 .28 engines, one in an s3 and other in my mta s28, now if I put the truck engine in the buggy the mix would seem different and temps rise, plugs burn etc. And that's because there's the weights difference, you've also got 2 tanks on the s50 as well as a bigger engine as well as other hardier components compared to the s28. You lean that high-speed needle in 1/8th turns and stop flooding the carb when you throttle off it will be correct. And the other way to tell its to rich is.....every time you go to restart it its either partially flooded or starts straight away, if the mix was lean and you were starving the engine then you would find yourself struggling to even get the engine started. There's plenty of advice on Google in the forums to, plenty of pro advice, and even every tune available for any engines. I learnt the hard way and was driving nitros way before KZbin or Facebook came along. Hope that helps you.

Bbbzzzzhhhmmmm let me guess. You are using a medium plug? Sounds like plug is too cold or carb is loading up on fuel

The factory needle settings after breaking in was too rich i assume.... I will be taking out later to fitness the needles....

your middle needle has to be lush , main needle 1 mm inside ;low speed needle 1 mm out . good warm up motor and good rechargable glowplug ignitor .

And in case you didn't know this engine is a .46 helicopter engine or 8.0 it's a direct copy of the. Team associated mgt 8.0

Try an N4 or N3 ug to, maybe a hotter plug will help, I know it does on the 21's and 28's. Hot/medium plugs.
